Couldn't find this topic so I decided to create it, because it seems as good a time as any, as the show just put the lid on its second season barely a month ago, and has been renewed for a third one.

I have to say, I was already a fan by the first season, but the second season just blew me away.

What The Eric Andre Show is, basically, for those of you who haven't seen it, is a deconstruction of the classic talk show format, with it's every element (the monologue, the on-set band, the segments, the guest interviews) taken and distorted beyond recognition, bringing in influences from public-access tv shows in the mix.

Kinda like Space Ghost Coast to Coast in live action. Only with even more drugs (at least it seems like it). And it's absolutely glorious. Probably one of the funniest things on Adult Swim since Frisky Dingo, in my book. It also helps that both leading men (Eric Andre and especially Hannibal Buress) are top notch.

Anyway even though I know Adult Swim doesn't get a lot of love around here, I still think this show is well worth checking out.

Was wondering if there was a topic here for this.

Needless to say, I kinda consider this to be on par with... well, anything that has Tim and Eric's names on it. I do not mean this in a positive way.

If I didn't find out on my own at some point, I NEVER would have guessed Hannibal Buress was any sort of comedian, seeing him on this... this show.

Even Xavier: Renegade Angel makes more sense than this, and that's something you shouldn't even watch stoned.

I'm with [up] on not being a fan of this show. It's too absurd for my tastes.
