Lately I have been hearing about "funeral selfies", apparently, to some, the Millenial equivalent of Victorian post mortem photography.

In addition, several points have been made about Skype funerals, that is, livestreaming the ceremony so relatives of the departed who cannot attend can watch the funeral or pay their respects from the comfort of their home office.

With 3D printing, I have another, 3D printed caskets! May/may not cost a lot of money, and probably not biodegradable, but certainly on the horizon.

I made this topic mainly to ask this question. How has social media and new tech in general affected "death culture" and changed it? What do ye all say? Good, or bad, and how?
