Digimon: Darkness of the Knights Interest Discussion(Closed RP)

This is just to discuss the basic story a bit. As well as iron out the banned Digimon.

Before we start, this is based upon Digimon Savers/Data Squad. Using the DNA Charge mechanic. In addition, because Armors are allowed, the terminology being used for it is DNA Armor Charge.

As of now, only Hyper Megas(a Mega Digimon that can come from another Mega) are banned. Mode Changes partially excluded.

Royal Knights, the Seven Great Demon Lords, Armagemon, the rest of the Keremon line, Apocalymon, X-Antibody Digimon(their designs can be used as a Burst Mode if Mega), and Milleniumon(including its Digivolutions) are also banned. However, the Royal Knights and Seven Great Demon Lords are entirely planned for this, but it may or may not change with this Discussion.

Besides that, keep in mind this is entirely Script gameplay only.

The players who are going to be in besides myself are directly being talked to. You'll know you're invited because I contacted you.

In addition, the partner for a Digimon will be entirely human physically, but this speaks nothing of how they were brought up. So yes, one might be brought up, by, say, Leomon and act more cat-like. Etc. Personalities beyond being a regular human are fine.

My planned line so far is Toyagumon > Devimon > Warumonzaemon > Puppetmon > Puppetmon Burst Mode. I may or may not use an Armor, but possible the Golden DigiEgg of Miracles, for Neodevimon. Undecided.

Yeah, the biggest issue is figuring out a good story. I'm thinking somewhat similar to the Yggdrassil storyline from Data Squad. It's the best justification for the Royal Knights being bad guys.

Both at the same time. You play the human and the partner Digimon.

My line is Monodramon -> Devidramon -> Cyberdramon-> Ouryumon.

I don't know which line I'm gonna take though. Depends if I'm allowed Hououmon. If not then I'll Machinedramon.

Hououmon and Machinedramon are both allowed. Also, I was slightly off. The guy I spoke of that was Machinedramon higher form similar to a Burst Mode was HiMachinedramon. Not Chaosdramon. But eh. Both work. Even Chaosdramon X-Antibody works as a skin for the Burst Mode. I'm not that picky, as long as it looks like it "works".

So far, looking good.

But keep in mind one of the main things I want to discuss is ideas for the storyline, not just our lines. That'll work best for the, you know, sign-up sheet. XD

I like the idea of the knights working with the Seven?

So the Knights will be workin' for the Seven. But to what end? What are the Seven plannin'?

Well, my thought is they're all working for Yggdrassil. And having two teams. The Royal Knights, who value order, and the Seven Great Demon Lords, who value chaos. I think this works well since it gives some stuff to go with.

Yeah I saw, though I think I'm gonna go the Ravmon or Valkyrimon route.

Ok so what does Yggdrasil hope to accomplish?

That... I'm still figuring out. Probably the whole "take over the world by deleting those who he does not find worthy" thing. At least that's my ideal plan. He wants balance, that's for sure. Hence he has his Order and Chaos Digimon.

The alliance between the Knights and the Seven should be strained though. They are opposites afterall. How is Yggdrasil goin' to coax these guys to work together?

I'm thinking fear. He is God of the Digital World.

I mean, literally. And of course, bad blood between them would be natural.

Ok so Yggdrasil goads them into service through fear so he can conquer the Digital World and eventually the real world (I assume). So how do the humans come in? Are they the few who are chosen to defeat Yggdrasil?

Yeah, pretty much. Only they can find true partners.

It's simple, but it gets the job done.

As for the other random Villains, they could potentially be later opponents or something. We'll see...

It quiet possible to have Other Digimon that work beside his elites.

Well yeah. The show had a villain hierarchy.

We could go with "Zones" like most Seasons.

Keremon might be, say, the first guy to face. Being that he is a Rookie. But a very powerful one.

OK... I've got an idea for the premise. A free ap that scans Digimon related QR codes turn people's cell phones into Digivices (that still have full phone functionality). From there it's like Tamers in plot structure where Digimon appear in the real world. In this version it could be because Yggdrsail is fufilling it's programming and destroying all but the strongest Digimon in mass. Kind of like a justified Sorting Algorithmof Evil as stronger Digimon will leave later than the weaker ones. Throughout the encounters with Digimon, some mention rumors of "The Grand Server" that could grant them a new place to live. But until then the Digimon keep coming, threatening the citizens of the Real World.

My character. Ashley Petrelli. A Bifauxen girl posing as a guy for her own reasons. Her partner is a Tapirmon.
