Hello there, all. As the title says, this thread is about the Marvel/DC Project. It all started here as not much more then a distraction, but in time, it became so much more. As the name implies, the universe of the Marvel/DC Project is one where the characters of both Marvel and DC coexist together in one universe. Now, at first, we were content with just trying to stitch existing continuity together, but we've gotten more inventive since then, to the point where we even have something of a longterm plan, at least for a while. We've even developed a detailed backstory for the 'verse, leading up to both The Shadow, The Question, and even Batman. (Yup; the Shadow's in this verse too, thanks to DC actually having him exist in their universe once upon a time. It's like Marvel and Conan The Barbarian.)
Speaking of history, that leads us to our first series, and the only one that has work put out from it right now; the Golden Age, done by yours truly. The Golden Age focuses on just that; the Golden Age of this shared Marvel&DC verse. Now, in general, I'm trying to keep the general spirit and history of DC&Marvel's Golden Ages intact, but since this is a new, shared, and alternate universe, and since this series probably won't have as much to do with everything else as most other series will, I can take some liberties. Over all, I want to focus on how the war (WWII,) affects the characters, and how the characters in turn affect the war, but I also have some larger plans in store as well. (With some involving a certain immortal caveman...) I also want to try to give some spotlight to some Golden Age characters that had a lot of potential, but were sadly neglected in later years, or maybe even in their original era. So, feel free to check out both the original thread, as well as the existent Golden Age series, and don't hesitate to tell us what you think.
EDIT: And if you want to know more, just read this page, this page, and page 20 onward.
EDIT 2; Trope page now up here.
