I only just noticed Poppy's more or less topless in the last page - presumably the attack that singed her tail gave her shirt Clothing Damage as well. Morbi did a pretty good job obscuring that.

Hmm when did I drop off this train... Around the time the dragon was around? thirties of chapter five.

It looks like a romance novel cover, which makes me think that we're going to be dealing with them dealing with fictionalzied accoutns of them, whether it's a "Roman à Clef" kind of novel or tabloids.

According to the blog, the queen's family will show up in this chapter.

Anyway, the cover is a kinda funny joke. Definitely a stark contrast to the whole dragon thing.

So, that's why Poppy is willing to work with the Queen. That and I suspect there are ulterior motives in proving to her daughter that Possums have a place in this world.

Oh, and among the many updates we haven't chronicled, Royal Romance.

And some oblique references to Alvus's former wife as well as a nice nod to the fact that the Queen can't actually see people.

Two things of note:

1. That impressive stache of Mr. Quibble's is being used to cover gouge marks in the shape of a cat's paw.

2. Petunia's Glare has enough power to give a creature almost immune to Magic a noticeable nosebleed. EDIT: Oh, and also turn some of his hair grey.

Conclusion: Just what in the Hell kind of woman did he marry!?
