Is this RP still open for anyone to join? I've got a character Idea but I don't want to jump in if this isn't running anymore.

As Daltar said, I've been busy with my studies; I would have tried to get a post out this week, but all my exams were pushed back to this week so I had to revise for them first.
If I can I'll try to post tomorrow or Sunday - Saturday is a wash since I'll be offline for 99.9% of the day.

Quick question, does there need to be a legitimate reasoning behind the character's appearing at the island, or is it possible to be Handwaved? Also, sorry for asking again (I'm not sure if anyone read the question in the Sign-Ups) but could anybody explain the whole "Powers" section a bit more? I'm confused on it.

I'd say put in your powers section the normal powers your character has and additionally state what power up they will get in the island.
As for the other question, that's more of the GM's territory to answer.

I mean, like, how will they get the powers from the island? Just stumble upon them and take it, or get it received from somebody?

I think we stumble onto them. Stored in the Museum there are a variety of weapons, magic crystals and technology which I think are up for the taking once calamity strikes.

On second thought, my idea seems a bit too far-fetched for my suspension of disbelief, so I'll just have Rufus fall until he gets warped there when that happens.

OK, I think my plans for getting sharded are going to wind up being a ripoff of how Hibiki got her powers in Senki Zesshō Symphogear, only with an exploding glass display case rather than bits smashed off a magical weapon.
Hopefully Zyguard has the medical tech to fix large numbers of shrapnel wounds like that.

Actually, with that in mind I might change how she gets the licence; rather than finding it in a case someone at Zyguard gives it to her after she gets released and possibly press-ganged.
