Looks interesting.
Wow, this Kickstarter seems surprisingly complete. Why didn't why try to send this to a publisher? I'm pretty sure they would've been accepted, even Steam would've let them avoid the Greenlight process!
Could be that no big publisher wants to fund a MMORTS.
Can't be too careful, I guess.
So, who has the scratch for it?
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Or could be they simply don't want to work with a publisher. They are invariably terrible.
I have a question, if the OP is still reading this: Do you guys have enough money to actually fund an MMO? Because I don't think 200000 dollars of kickstarter money will be enough.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Maybe they simply need it to prove to potential publishers that there is a market, and then spend the money on production once a big fish picks them up.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Sorry, double post, but... $24,281 After five days, and 242 backers. Not bad.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?I don't think they're gonna make it, unfortunately. Unless there's some serious Colbert Bump or something, it'll probably fail.

Do we know any fairly big creators?
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Wow, talk about a disappointment. This is honestly one of the better developed Kickstarters, and the fact that it's failing vs a bunch of other projects that are ultimately pipe-dreams is kinda baffling.
Okay, maybe it will survive. The guys at Rooster Teeth seem to like it.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is to my immense pleasure that I must announce something: They succeeded.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?I thought they announced the Kickstarter being a success two months prior?
Well, no one on here seemed to have heard, and therefore I didn't find out about it until this evening. : P

We've created a new sci-fi MMORTS - Novus Aeterno, and launched a Kickstarter to polish it for our public release (it's already playable).
Novus Aeterno combines empire building with tactical and strategic RTS combat. All within a single massive, persistent multiplayer game universe.
You can find us on Kickstarter under Novus Aeterno.
The funds will let us devote more developers and resources to improving features and completing the final features.
If you're into RTS or Space-based games, we'd really appreciate your support if a MMORTS excites you.
Feel free to ask me any questions, and I'll pass them along.
