There we go, made sure to get the right forum this time...

Alright, so, anybody else been following this show on CBS around here?

It's the "The Following" of the 2013 fall freshman class. It's truly horrendously awful.

Even if everything about the show was just a complete failure in television making, the very premise is fundamentally flawed. It's good for a 2 hour movie, or maybe a 5 hour miniseries. But a full series? Hell no.

I tried the pilot...but my brain already stuttered at the idea that it is even possible to get so close to the woman who is supposed to operate on the president. Wouldn't the secret service keep an eye on her, if not for her protection than to make sure that she doesn't have any undesirable contacts.

Next the cliché problems...just once I want to see the boy getting someone pregnant and the girl being the one who gets bullied. At least the husband doesn't have an affair...yet. Plus I hated the whole "successful mother has no idea what is going on in her family" trope. I am ready to be that there is somewhere in the future a guilt trip coming for "neglecting" her family.
