If it gets enough votes, it becomes a video. The first 10 will be included.

Also, I can't stress this enough: this is for the credits themselves. Not the endings, the titles for the endings. Also, movies like Apocalypse Now don't count for opening credits, since it doesn't have opening credits, just an opening. So, yeah.

I… don't really remember the openings to any of these.

The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.

Fight Club, the movie with probably the best intro sequence of the last thirty years, isn't on that list.

The list is therefore invalid. Invalid I tell you! tongue

I'd vote for Casino Royale as one of the top opening credits sequences - the design is incredibly well done and the music is great. Goldeneye is also one of the better Bond credits sequences.

Monty Python And The Holy Grail may also deserves a place, although I'm not sure it's the all-time best (where the current votes put it). It's the one with "Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked."

Watchmen also definitely deserves its nomination, for originality (the opening credits show a series of alternate-history vignettes that set up the film's context, with Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changing" playing over them).

For closing credits I'd vote for Star Wars, just for the music.

The closing credits for Up are very sweet, they might deserve a top 10 place.

I'd have to agree about Watchmen. That was a brilliant idea. Need fit in a lot of backstory, but can't interrupt the narrative like the comic did because of the limitations of the medium? Condense it into an opening credits sequence. Genius.

I've always loved The Pink Panther movies, but it's hard for me to decide which of those openings are the best, because most have really good ones. I guess "Strikes Again", because of how well-animated it is?

[up][up]A million times yes for Casino Royale. Music's great, the design's a ton of fun to look at.

Well, at least The Spy Who Loved Me and Goldfinger are both on the list, though I think I'd have to go with the former.

As for closing credits, I don't know. I want to say Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, just for the easter egg with the couple in the broom cupboard.

The Good The Bad And The Ugly and Taxi Driver and Lolita are among my favourites in terms of opening credits.

In terms of closing credits, Cinema Paradiso, Ratatouille and The Godfather Part II.

The opening credits of Watchmen are the best thing about that film. Taxi Driver is by far my favourite, then The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

End credits wise I guess I like The Godfather pt2.
