OK! WOOHOO!
UhI should be able to post at least once a day. How important is it if I miss a day or two? Will I be holding up the whole thing until I'm back on? Would be good to know in advance.
How are you, gentlemen? All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.Pre-RP questions? I suppose a little bit of mini-worldbuilding of stuff you think we should know would be cool. Just basic things, like some well-known, historical, touristy locations, the name of the major newspaper(s) (if they even exist), any important heroes or villains that everyone should know, and important political figure everyone should know, etc.
Oh, also, will this be like the last one, where the registered heroes had their communicators and were supposed to have a history of meeting up in the HQ and all that, or is the government more laissez-faire with the whole thing, and the supercard is more like a hunting license than anything else? If it's the former, one of the things I thought the last one could have used more of was having a rough guess of pre-existing work history between the regies.
I was just thinking the same thing, we should work out if / how well our characters know each other already. Are there any rivalries or friendships, etc. Any particularly notorious villains would be good to know too.
Well, in terms of relationships, I'd guess Maestro is nice to everyone she meets, natch.
UhAidan is probably helpful to most of the Unregistered folk (even if he is sarcastic). Not sure how fond he's gonna be of Registered supers. Probably somewhere between "not very much" and "not at all"
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI think that Registered heroes know Alan more that those that are not. He's not very well known either way, but reggies can at least roughly apply the term 'ally(?)' on sight.
Also, he only recognizes the well known registered heroes (as in the Supermen of Felderton ala the Mentalist) and not many others.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillWow, prude.
UhBlink won't probably treat any hero differently on account of registration, after all, she only did it to be on the safe side.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Dana is new in town, so she probably hasn't had a chance to get to know the other capes much. She'd be at least friendly to everyone, and she only registered because she was expected to, so she doesn't feel strongly enough about it to outright distrust non-registered heroes.
Note that I never said the Mentalist was from Felderton (which he isn't). Historically, Felderton never had too many big-name established heroes or villains, due to being a relatively quiet city for years. Of course, this is probably about to change...
The police don't have standardized communicators, but they will have the contact information of any registered supers, and may call on them from time to time. If an unregistered is "established" enough, the police may have their contact info too. (See below for more info.)
The city has just one major newspaper, the Felderton Herald. It's been struggling lately, courtesy of having to compete with internet-based news as well as other more well known newspapers from larger cities. There's been a few rumors of it going digital only, but no announcements so far.
Tourist attractions are mainly the Felderton Industrial Museum (which is partly an old factory that was renovated and expanded) and the Felderton Zoo (mainly known for having every known species of bear on exhibit, including giant pandas). While they do draw decent crowds, they are eclipsed by larger and more well known museums and zoos, respectively.
Well, that's some background info. As for if and how you know each other, you have to be "established" in Felderton (been there long enough to have a good reputation), and in order to know each other both supers would probably have to be established. I don't want everyone to be at that level (just for variety's sake), so you guys are going to have to pick one or two (at most) on each side to fit that role. (Unfortunately for the rest of you registered, I'm going to have to assume Ursa Major is established, since her backstory and nature pretty much requires it.)
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Kris would also be established, working for the police as a known super under the superhero identity "The Peacekeeper." In terms of relationships, she sees being a hero as work. Work that she loves and is addicted to. So she tries to be professional when she's on the clock. If she met a super away from work who was unregistered she's just be a normal person. However, on duty she does have to do her job. She sees the law as being very restrictive as to how she can do her job dealing with other supers, but would enforce it none the less.

I think Gwen, would be a newbie, possibly been present for a month or two
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.No more questions then?
I'm waiting on a single person to get back to me with a PM. If they don't get back to me tomorrow or we get it worked out by then, I'll start the RP.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Does UM have to be established? Maybe she just wears a balaclava to blend in
She's a bear walking around the streets with a beehive on her back. About the only way everybody wouldn't freak out (which I really don't want to have to work around) is if she's already established.
Plus, her backstory (as you wrote it) does tie her to Felderton to a greater degree than the other backstories.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Yeeey it's starting! are we being called to the gang? Also, are unregistereds still getting called?
UhA quick note about the first post: there are obviously two different things going on here. One is mainly for the registered (the police chief calling you in) and one is mainly for the unregistered (the biker gang). Don't worry if this seems odd, you'll be working together (or not) soon enough.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Well, that answers that.
UhCATS, you're going to have to edit your post. I did specify it was the middle of the afternoon, so the whole "tonight was a slow night" thing kind of needs to be changed.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Revolver was on it.......
"Hey man. Nice night for a ride."
........
??????
Regardless, I went ahead and edited my post. Is it cool now?

How are you, gentlemen? All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.Guess I missed that one (which means Taco gets to do an edit too).
You're good to go.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Yeah, that's why I did the night thing, I was thinking about that comment. But of course I should have just looked at the OP to clarify. I'll try to avoid that kind of mistake in the future.
How are you, gentlemen? All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction. So, is my post ok? Specifically the "Moving bikers around" type thing.
Uh
A wild discussion thread appeared!
Before we get started, I just wanted to clarify something real quick. With multiple teams of characters at work and so many people participating, I need to warn you that the RP will, by its nature, have to move at the pace of the slowest among us. However, I am not going to force people to wait too long, so one post a week is the bare minimum. If something comes up and you can't post, let me know by PM in advance (or afterwards if it was an emergency). If you do not let me know and do not post for a couple of weeks, I may conclude you have dropped out and will write your character out of the RP accordingly.
With that out of the way, I'm open for any pre-RP questions you all might have. So ask away!
