Nice to know my country isn't the only one where the Secret Masters can't get their act together.
Not that anyone trusted the election in Azerbaijan or expected to have a voice, but this is quite a gaffe on the Prez' part.
Neither Europe nor America will call Baku out though. It remains the only real alternative to Gazprom, especially with Iran under sanctions (which Azerbaijan also helps against).
Actually, Europe is a little more willing to call out Azerbaijan than the US is, apparently.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.OSCE is a bit different. They're the ones overseeing negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno Karabakh via the OSCE Minsk Group. The individual nations of Europe won't do it though. Not in an effective sense anyway.

So to bring people up to speed, the country of Azerbaijan held presidential elections earlier this week, but the results of said elections were leaked onto the internet before anyone voted. Of course when Armenia's president (longtime Arch-Enemy of Azerbaijan) publicly supported Aliev's re-election because his threats of war and constant racist remarks did more to help Armenia than to hurt it, he wasn't kidding.
