Honestly, that's probably about as awesome as Asagi can be. To bad it didn't work. Not her fault really.

I sort feel like they skipped some plot from the LN by having Astarte point out the obvious. Which was good, as Sana's identity was wearing thin.

Episode 17. In which Asagi shows what she's made of.

They just happened to see those two on the TV...

Asagi sure managed to keep a smile on in that situation.

Just gonna say, you don't kick a door like that open. Well, unless you're super powered, but I kinda doubt Asagi is.

So, she defeated him by reversing the flow of the pola—wait, the water. That makes more sense.

Okay, those clothes are just tacky.

Whenever someone says, "I'm just a..." you can bet that they're a little bit more than what they claim.

You're not going to get rid of Asagi that easily. And I really wonder how long they'll drag out on a few bits of information her way. But for Kojou's sake, it's probably better to tell her himself, rather than have it slip out some other way which inevitable happens and causes her to lose trust in him or whatever. Let's hope this series doesn't use that cliché, considering it's managed to avoid quite a few other.

Whoa. The author foreshadowed Natsuki's transformation to a little girl in Episode 16, by dressing her in a middle-schooler's uniform in Episode 13.

Episode 17:

• Asagi was pretty awesome this episode.
• I...felt sorry for Ms. Ghirardi. Losing like that was not nice at all. As expected of Vatler.
• Yukina gave Kojou some of her blood. Sayaka's reaction was priceless.
• Hm... Meiga's affiliated with the LKO? Wonder what he did to get thrown into jail...
• It's clear that Aya's on her own side. Besides, with her ability, she is a library.

Episode 18. In which there are characters who at the moment just seem like fillers.

"Please don't complicate things further." And what's more, she actually explains in fairly clear terms what she means by it. Same standard as usual.

She scream, he screams. She's just faster at it.

She recovers rather fast, I'd say, when he goes unconscious because of nosebleed. Which is ridiculous. The passing out, that is. But it at least shows she can prioritise.

And there's blood in the water...

That certainly sounds and acts like something Natsu-chan would come up with.

"She even threw a shoe at him, so they're definitely close." Spoken like a true tsundere.

To show that things are serious, throw Vatler through a window, kyun.

Did she say he was a tengu?

So, we now have a different dark-haired girl as hostage. Well, at least they're spreading it around.

All magic is removed. I wonder what Asagi can do, then.

The plot could have moved a lot further if we didn't use one third of the episode on fanservice.

Are all the vampires in Lost Warlord domain gay? No wonder those girls are so frisky.

Valter almost spilled the beans on LKO real reasons for sending Yukina there.

The dragon slayer dude design seems oddly familiar but I can't put a finger on it.

Asagi, right now there are more pressing matters than "why is Yukina dressed like a nurse" or "did Kojou introduce her to his mother?", you know?

At this point I'm not sure if he's clueless or trolling her.

...A plan that includes putting Yukina in a magical cage could very easily backfire. Also, I wonder what's special about her.

I'm just waiting for him to actually spill the beans to Asagi. He's been prepared for it for a long time now.

Yeah, that fanservice bit seemed so out of place I wondered if it was supposed to be some kind of foreshadowing. Well, with the other girls. Asagi has a lot of reasons to have a private conversation with Kojou.

Though about that, she doesn't seem to have picked up much on why he nosebleeds. Despite that being a tell-tale sign in just about any other anime, and is used as direct proof that the (usually) guy's being a pervert. It's not like she shouldn't be familiar with it by now. She'd probably be happier if she did know.

He might as well tell her. It's not like being in the dark prevented the hand of plot from dragging her along.

Yeah. His objection for telling her was just to not get her involved, which is the usual excuse they have. Which usually is useless anyway, like here. She's good at getting involved, willingly or not.

Now, I wonder what would she think if she found out. Most people who know about it, knew he was the progenitor before even meeting him, so their opinion could only go up.

Not to mention, what she would think if she found out that Yukina is his blood partner.

I think she'd take the latter worse than the former. One thing to remember is that pretty much the first thing we heard her say was, "It's not like you're a vampire." But she's also proven to have some rather questionable priorities when it comes to finding new stuff out and what she reacts to, so it's really hard to guess.

Right, I don't think that Kojou being a Progenitor would be a big problem after the initial shock. The vampires seem well integrated in society for the most part, and Asagi doesn't appear to be prejudiced against them. But finding about Kojou and Yukina relationship would be another matter completely. She might get bit jealous.

"Might"? "A bit"?

I'd say that's understating things.

(Psst, you're talking with a tsundere. They're a bit less proficient with stating things as they are. If you can squeeze even an understatement out of them, you know it means a lot.)

At this point, it's probably passed the sit-down-and-have-a-nice-long-talk stage. I suspect Asagi will finally realize he's a vampire when has to pull Regulus Aurum out of his butt in a tense situation.

Episode 18:

• At first, I honestly thought Vatler was alone. How stupid of me. It's a private yacht, for crying out loud! I wonder if he's the kind of guy who holds wild parties. Guys only, of course.
• Natsuki's backup program... Something's...off about her. Yes, it's her dead fish eyes, kyun! Giiiii...
• Vatler loves a good fight. He also likes i- *explodes*
• Hey, a Tank Girl!
• Man, Asagi asks the important questions. Yes, nurse uniforms, introductions and Kojou's preferences are very important.
• Asagi's gonna be going out with Kojou once everything blows over. It's a deal. Everyone else is coming along, though.
• All inmates have been tagged and bagged. Except Meiga, because he's a smart glasses-wearing guy who knew the pointlessness of a witch hunt.
• Aya tagged and bagged Yukina. And Sana too, it looks like. And the magic's going away. Not good.

At this point, I wonder if Asagi has a bit of Selective Obliviousness going on. I.e. she doesn't want to believe there is anything unusual about the people she knows.

At any case, the wait for next week won't be wasted. Things are escalating and we're going to have a blast~

The fact that Himeragi's Wolf-Blitzer spear's divine oscillations weren't nullified by the Witch's magic canceller probably means that La Folia's divine stuff works, too.

I wonder if the Big 5 store on Itogami island stocks her caliber of magic bullets.

Shame she left the island then.

It could be the fact that its anti-magic properties are strong enough to cancel the Aya's own spell.

Episode 19 is out:

I kinda like how Aya kidnapped Himmeragi just to discuss philosophy with her.

So Koujou couldn't heal because of awakened Familiar.

Well, that was lewd Sayaka. Good girl.

New familiar is cool. Turning whole city to a mist was awesome.

Akatsuki had enough and was ready for battle... with trusty Yukina by his side.

Who knew that a nosebleed would become relevant again.

Yukina wants Kojou to saty with her forever. How bold!

Yeah, they never really explained why Himeragi's powers were still working, did they? Was the idea just supposed to be that she wasn't nullifying other forms of anti-magic?
