Season 8 only sucked because of Starbuck and Freddie Prince Jr.... Renee happened to be the part that injected life into the season. Granted, it required her death, but still...
And Yvonne Strahovski isn't playing a "Blonde Renee", unless she signs up for(and passes) Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique 101. I don't think she'll do that. Because it'll hurt her ability to continue passing secrets to the Chinese(Which she pinned on her husband).

Oh no, you misunderstand me. Season 8 sucked (in part) because Renee died. And was callously fridged in the most blatant of ways. Kate resembles Season 7 Renee to a degree.
I'd love it if the mole twist is that there is no mole. And also if the perimeter teams actually work. That'd be a surprise.
