From my reading of it (years ago), the channeling system clearly does not fit into D&D very well, and it ended up being a botched mess of compromises between the book system and something that could be plugged into a Class and Level System. (For example, the "elementalism" talent where they stuck just about everything that didn't actually require a Talent in the books.)
I don't think that WoT channeling can ever cleanly fit into a Class and Level System, simply because power level, skill, and the various edge cases have nothing to do with one another.
I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own.Well, I'm hardly Dn D savvy but the Channeling system seems both over and under powered at the same time. If that makes any sense- it's malus's and progression are pretty bad, but what you can actually do with it approach Exalted levels of broken power.

Time grows thin, the past's a riddle; The Tower awaits you in the middle.
...I just discovered the existence of this- it reads a lot like Pathfinder mixed with an older Dn D, but that's okay. It's remarkably non complicated- given the source material and come mechanics seem a bit...wonky, but that's okay- because otherwise it seems very well done adaption of the books.
Anyone else have any thoughts? Ever played it? Or just have an thought two to share about the idea/concept?
