Hey - so I was surfing the web when I came across the concept of a [[en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_(military) batman.]] Not the superhero mind you, a military batman is basically a soldier who acts a servant/bodyguard to an officer.
I was wondering if anyone knew how soldiers were selected for batman duty. Like, were they picked randomly or did the general decide that the hardest worker would be his batman or what?
