So it just clicked that Dr. Gel and Bea fucking soloed an entire universe and destroyed it.

God damn, Lady Liberty is one hell of a ship.

Eh, that's really easy in 2D. I've done it thousands of times.

I would have thought Dandy could only hold a relationship with someone utterly one-dimensional. Maybe she sees a different angle of him.

Euclidean geometry, old video games, some new character perspective, excellent art... a very multi-dimensional episode.

Why is everyone saying the Dr. Gel scenes were spoofing old video games? In the plot, it's supposed to spoof Flatland!

The art style and fights are very clearly based off 2D games, with Space Invaders being inevitably the most prominent.

Okay, so they're spoofing BOTH those.

Starting to think that the reason Gogol wants Dandy has to do with the secret of warp travel. Maybe something about Dandy allows one to manipulate warp travel more... finely.

Imagine, if you will, a galactic empire that could warp to universes where each of their plans succeed.

The warp thing still confuses me a bit.

So you never warp you just change consciousnesses with an alternate universe version of yourself in the spot you wanna go?

I think a bunch of us guessed that theory weeks or months ago. ... which means the Gogol Empire is completely unaware that there is no such thing as warp drives or parallel universes as stated at the end of the last ep.

Effectively, though I'm not sure about the "transfer" bit, since we never see what happens to Dandy A after he hits the warp button and causes Dandy B to have his memories.

Might even be that Dandy A disappears from Universe A and winds up merging with Dandy B, or maybe Dandy B gets shunted into Dandy A's old universe.

The webcomic Starslip did a very similar warp drive concept.

Or maybe they do know, but need Dandy as some sort of final piece of the puzzle which will allow them to fully control warping and use it to make an unstoppable empire.

In a tangentially-related point, I found Gel's fate in this last episode to be the most unsettling of his deaths yet. Well, okay, upon thinking on it, it's probably nearly the same as what happened when he fell into a black hole, but still. Brr...

Well, he could theoretically come back from last weeks. Not so much from the black hole. Heck, Dr. Gel could come bursting out of the end of this very sentence...

But 0D is also defined as "being everywhere", so maybe it's a GOOD thing??

Being everywhere in that unfathomably small space, crammed together in the same area as Bea's body, unable to move because there's nowhere to move to, cut off from every sense of physical positioning that he was born with as a 3-dimensional...

Now, here's an interesting thought. Remember "The Lonely Pooch Planet, Baby!"? Specifically, the bit where Dandy and crew need to escape the black hole, and do so by warping? We clearly see them vanishing, and Gel appearing via the same method. So it's not quite right to say that they're only mentally traveling to a Dandy and crew in the right position. And it doesn't look like Dandy B gets put where Dandy A warped from... Are they, like, merging with their selves at the destination? But then that would also be weird, since we see Gel come out into his location, rather than there being a USS Not-So-Liberty at the destination already.

Wouldn't be USS though I think. GES maybe?

I was going by Star Trek naming convention ("USS Enterprise"), but GES works fine, too.

Is Dandy gonna speak at any point in the episode?

First serious Dandy in last episode, now this? Wow, Mood Whiplash hits this series harder than Steven Universe.

So, the reason all those Dandies can come into Reg. Dandy's dimension is through some particle?

Also, that Rose is a cutie, even if she's the murderer.
