Manga writers and artists

Hi! I'm looking for people who is interested in helping me and a friend of mine with this project we're doing. We're making our own manga! For a bit of fun and maybe post it up somewhere..... idk...... But the thing is that I want a little team who could help me write it, give it a bit more flesh and a small team to help my friend draw it. Anyone interested?

I might be interested to help with your manga project, as I currently need the motivation to practice my drawing skills. But given that I'm in the middle of my college's FYP, I'll need to know the scale of this project before agreeing.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I'm in the middle of college as well. :P The scale...... uhh....... I'm not sure how to answer that...... But pretty much I write the story (hopefully some people will be interested in helping me flesh it out :3) and I'll send it over to you and my friend to draw it out...... You can do it pretty much at any time possible...... Just wondering what exactly do you want to draw for this? The background? characters? inking? the whole thing? what is your style?

Well... I usually draw people, though I might be able to draw backgrounds if needed. Probably not inking, since I don't have good enough drawing pens to ink small details, and may make mistakes with it.

Been a while since I've actually drawn anything though, so it might not be as good as you'd like. Here's my latest work.

I think thats really good! I'll talk it over with my friend to see if she wants to do the characters or maybe the background or something...... I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

I draw in manga style, but can't draw storyboards or comic panels, but I can draw in big pictures :3

That's totally fine! As long as you want to and can help then I would be glad to have you on board! But the project will be a bit slow.......

Can you be a bit more elaborate? Just manga itself is still a broad term. Many people ask for a collaboration in manga all over the internet so why should they pick you over the others? People tend to look for specifics such as concepts, themes, genres, characters that interest them.

Ah! That makes sense! Well..... The manga that I kinda want to do is pretty much a real life fiction. You know... kinda like Alex Rider kind of thing........ So the story is about two boys, best friends, who find out a 'secret' organization and becomes a part of it. Wow...... put it like that and it is a total cliche....... But yeah...... So the secret organization changes every generation but keeps the same concept. They make contract with people. Keeping heirlooms, delivering things to others, help people to do whatever. It doesn't matter so long as they (the costumer) sign the contract and the organization will fulfill it. I'll put in a short description of the characters in the next post.

So the characters are:

Main: Cassidy Woods: Born in 1/4 (Capricorn) A quiet, bookish, serious, mousy looking boy who is very practical and is mostly indifferent to others (he doesn't really like other people).

Best Friend: Tristan Lawson: Born in 6/15 (Gemini) A bright, active, sensual boy who changes with the wind and is more manipulative than he seems. Both are Italian Origination children: Group name: Golden Butterfly (For this generation) They each have a role.

Hacker: Bao Jin Kim: Born in 3/4 (Pisces) A shy, sensitive, loner status Korean girl who is mischievous beneath the shyness and not so practical at times.

Field Agent: Curtis Wagner: Born in 8/8 (Leo) A independent, multi-talented, responsible gentlemen who is very charismatic which made him a bit cocky and has a crush on Bao Jin (who is none the wiser even when told by Adeline, his sister).

Designer: Adeline Wagner: Born in 9/18 (Virgo) A analytic, devoted, aristocratic lady who has very high standards which makes her quite demanding and wishes that Bao Jin would just get a clue and marries her brother soon (Bao Jin is the only girl she'll accept as her sister in law). The Wagner siblings are half French and German.

Weapons (more like Engineer): Theo (still need to think of a last name): Born in 10/14 (Libra) A laid-back, realistic, reasonable boy who goes at his own pace when making a decision and can be quite threatening to anyone outside of his familial circle.

Scientist (mostly makes explosives or whatever goes with Theo's invention): Teah (Theo's twin) A earthy, ambitious, cautious girl who can be easily riled but becomes composed just as easily (which makes her seem bipolar but she isn't) and more observant than given credit. The twins are half Egyptian and African (Yes, I know Egypt is in Africa but I just mean another African country..... I haven't thought of one specific one yet but I'm thinking a Southern African country.....)

Ok...... So..... The kind of people that I would like to have is: An artist! My previous one had to quit due to their busy schedule. I hope that someone would be interested in drawing these characters!

Someone who is very picky with grammar! Because you see I'm not the best with grammar and one of my character is very proper with language so...... I'll need someone who can correct me on it.....

Someone who is good with contract/law like things. Since my story has contracts in it, there is going to be problems concerning the contract so I need someone who is good with speaking about this kind of thing...... I'm worried that I would make it bland and just flop it completely....... If there is anyone interested out there then please contact me through either this forum or through a PM!!!!

Ok..... I don't know how many people look at this post but I just wanted to say here that I developed the story a bit more. This is going to be about the main character, Cassidy Woods, trying to find his mother for his father's sake and to have some questions answered and learning about the feud within his family. And how it connects with the other characters.
