Also, I just realized the Wonderbolts are kinda like rangers in a sense, with their spandex suits and action based on flashiness.

Upon reading it further, I can't really tell if the PM is legit or not. They're just asking for a few basic, non-personal questions that can be done over PMs and I don't see what they would be phishing for but it does seem pretty suspicious.

i mean, i did a research project on furries that involved surveying peoples' ages and stuff. this person might be doing something similar?

but in my case I posted on the furry coven thread with a link to a google surveys survey that i made, and made it pretty clear that if they didn't want to answer some/any of the questions they didn't have to

what questions are they asking?

Just some generic things regarding my relationship with TV Tropes as a site, how long have I been a part of it, what do I like/dislike, how do I think it compares to similar sites, etc. I'm not seeing much harm in answering them.

yup- i think we brought it up in the thread when it was first announced actually. fight's gonna be something alright.

I'm not sure what to make of the survey thing. In general if you want to take a survey like that it would be better to make a thread or something about it rather than P Ming random people.

Those questions seem pretty innocent so far, but if it ever starts going into questionable territory, remember that you can always tell a mod about it. They'll know how to respond to the situation. (And in the worst case, if they are some kind of shady character, the mods have the power to stop them from making a victim of anyone else.)

Well I answered the questions, so I guess I'll see soon enough. What set off warning bells initially was that the person has no posting history at all but that doesn't necessarily mean anything bad.

Shouldn't the Equestria Girls movies be namespaced to animated film instead of western animation? They are movies, after all.

Animated movies do go in the WesternAnimation/ namespace.

Well, on some pages there's a "Film: Animation" subsection.

The namespace system could really use work. For example, it can barely handle works with same name (all the side pages, Fridge, YMMV, etc. are shared).

I'm pretty sure they're overhauling that when they do the upcoming update.

Anyway, I'm going to bed.

Hopefully that will also fix the issue of multiple works with the same title in the same medium.

Does anyone have an idea when the new season is going to start? I imagine it would have to be pretty soon if they want to have it done before the movie.
