I'm coming up with nothing of note with GIS. However, this was in the examples section and may be worth considering. Specifically, I like the 4th panel.

It doesn't matter that the current image came from Fable 2 or even that it has anything to do with the good vs. evil morality system because it fits well with the Nietzsche quote which is more important. It reflects what is being discussed by the quote. "And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." It shows the "monster" of the abyss, who is a reflection of the PC, gazing back at the hero. The image doesn't have to be self-sufficient with it's meaning because the quote is the main part of the introduction. It clarifies the picture. Someone would have to be very dense in the head to misinterpret the image after reading the quote. Unless we find a completely perfect picture to replace the current one with, which no one has so far, the current picture works for now.
