Because nobody can avoid spoilers that barely qualify as such ever.

Any word on what the size for the digital version is?
Just got my download code, and I've been playing for an hour or so now. Man, nobody does cute monster girls (and regular girls) like WayForward, do they?
Having played the original Shantae games and Risky's Revenge, this does feel kind of different - I sort of like the level structure instead of having to run through every single part of the world to get where I'm going, for one. Aside from that, seems like more of the same - but more of the same is, fortunately, still some good stuff.
That said, I'm a bit disappointed that Risky and Shantae aren't on better terms after the events of Risky's Revenge, if this is really a sequel and not (as one NPC lampshades) either a sequel, reboot, soft reboot, remake or robot.
It's been fun.Between 1.1 and 1.2 gigs, IIRC
Can someone help me locate the waterfall climbing ability? I'm completely stumped and the bath house hint lady isn't giving hints on where it can be. I know it's somewhere in Mermaid Falls, but I have no idea WHERE IT IS.
I think its in the burning part of the Scuttle Town Streets, to the leftest. You need the rock star birb to get it.

x4
That's great! And thank you!
Personally, I'm stuck on the third secret chamber in Ammo Baron's fleet, the one with the bank of lasers that fires almost continuously. Nothing seems to make it across fast enough, not even Monkey Bullet.
It's been fun.And finished the game at 5h 33m, with 90% completion. Yes, I got the good ending.
People have said it's too short and I kind of have to agree. It's nice not having to search for four heart squids for one container, but there aren't too many collectibles otherwise. Certainly felt like Pirate's Curse had a bigger scope overall, for items, locations and even for story.
I'm disappointed that they didn't decide to carry along from the ending of Pirate's Curse. Maybe having Risky slide into Reformed, but Not Tamed wasn't appealing to them, or they wanted to make sure that people would back the project without having played Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse... but even so, it's disappointing. I really liked Risky and Shantae's dynamic in that game, and seeing them go back to generic mwahaha villainy and 'you won't get away with it!' was pretty jarring. And no, that one townswoman making a quip about how she can't tell if the latest installment in her favorite series is a sequel, a reboot or a remake doesn't make it better.

It's been fun. You'd need to upgrade the Bubble to Invincibility
It is short although the extra character campaigns should help with that a little
And Risky's scheme is basically the same one she had in 1 and 2. She's consistent if nothing else but I agree that some follow through from Pirate's Curse would have been preferable.
Edit: Specifically it seems that one of the stretch goals unreached would have played with the idea of a reformed Risky, although I can't tell from the description whether it would have been a ruse or not.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, I do wonder if the fact that the game was Kickstarted had an impact on the plot... it's possible, which is kind of a shame.
Whose character campaigns did make it in? I know Risky Mode is already on the mode select, but I wasn't sure if Sky, Bolo and Rottytops's stretch goals had been made.
It's been fun.According to the wikia, yes, you can play as Risky, Rottytops, Bolo, and Sky.
I'm hype for Sky's "birds solve everything" playstyle

Forever liveblogging the AvengersRefresh my memory, is Risky supposed to have her own full campaign?
I'm not expecting much of a story or narrative for the other three.
The Kickstarter page says that each of them has their own story.
I would be very disappointed if that wasn't the case. I don't expect entirely new levels or anything, but at least some different dialogue and stuff so I can at least feel like I'm not just playing the exact same game over and over.
To the individual looking for the waterfall ability: Its in the first area, the main street one. You need Harpy Form to reach it.
Oh wait, you edited. Nevermind.
EDIT: Wow that dark room was a pain. Is there a light based power-up I missed? I kinda brute forced it.

There's a powerup for Bat Shantae somewhere for that, and that only.
It's still a pain to complete, but you have an actual scope of vision.

As far as I can tell, it's only for some gems, though.
It's been fun.IIRC, there was something else, too.
Yup, you get an upgrade if you reach the bottom right section.
Oh, damn. I guess I should have looked around a bit more.
It's been fun.
So people could play it and enjoy it?
