If you backed enough money you got to be a beta tester. They emailed you a steam key for the demo which contained Mighty No.5 and Mighty No.2. They've been updating it with some other levels but my computer is crap and I haven't really been able to get a good feel for the game.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff. To be correct. You can 5, 2 and 3. Aka Battalion, Cyrosphere and Dynatron.
So I have to wonder, do you think Mighty No 9's release model may be the method other publishers use in the future? I know publishers have been making a push for more digital releases, but haven't gone all in because they don't want to piss of retailers.
Mighty No 9 seems to have a happy median though. The digital version is cheaper but doesn't come with the extra DLC that is packed in with the Physical Version.
I'm probably getting both the 3DS port and the Steam version.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Anyone know why the DLC doesn't come in the digital version?
Because it's cheaper so you have to actually buy it.
It works like this.
- If you are a backer you get the game and the DLC for free.
- If you bought the physical version you get the DLC included for free but it costs a bit more then the digital version.
- If you bought the Digital version and are not a backer then you have to pay for the Ray DLC.

Oh yeah, I see now. Too bad I put money in my eShop in planning...I really like the physical version so I'm going to spend that on other digital games and get the physical version instead.
Also: I wonder who is that in the background on the boxart cover? The one with the glowing eyes. Might be the final boss (which most are expecting a No. 0)?

holy shit steve blum
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI like the dashing into enemies mechanic. That looks fun.
I'll be getting some hands-on time with M#9 at E3 - what are the questions you'd like me to ask?
Will the Apple robot show up in game as a easter egg or something? He brings a smile to my face whenever he shows up on the April Fool "pranks". It would probably seem like a waste if Apple-Bot didn't show.

Tell use how some of the bosses fight and if they have changed at all from the Beta.
Huh. So all the controversy over this game settled down, and they've got solid work done on it? Nice.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Japanese voices are out.
You know, I honestly think the game looks good. The visual style reminds me of the Strider reboot also.
The Mighty No. 9 gameplay trailer is out.

It looks... kind of boring. :\ The boss arenas and levels seem to have a lot of empty space, and the sprites are too small. I think it might be better if it was zoomed in just a little so you could better see Beck and what was going on.
Most people are complaining about the graphics though. I think they look okay XD
The Protomen enhanced my life. The game's up for pre-order on Steam for $19.99 USD right now. I wonder if that's going to be the digital price for it on every platform?
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!I think the animations are cute and cartoony myself.
Posting the trailer for convenience's sake.
I'm kinda bummed they didn't do the "From the creators of X" thing (or in this case, "From the creators of Mega Man"). But I guess I can see why. They're probably worried if they do that, people will think it's from Capcom.

I wonder if I should join the forums at this point.
