I watched the first one, and it is one of the most impressive abridged series I've seen, almost on the level of Dragon Ball Z Abridged, I might daresay. Let's just hope that this gets more episodes; abridge series is an enormously time and energy consuming work.
And second episode is out? Hell yeah!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I officially enjoy this more than the actual anime.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI haven't even watched original series, and I am enjoying the crap out of it.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, I don't really like Sword Art Online. I think this abridged is fantastic so far.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireUnfortunately, it seems that episode 2 has been removed from youtube.
Oh come on, already?!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. From what I understand, there are people that actively seek to flag abridged series entries as copyright infringement, and youtube automatically pulls videos after a certain number of flags. Just look at Yugioh the Abridged Series' constant battle with Youtube...
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireMaybe there should be a site exclusively for abridged serieses. Then again, then there will he people actively reporting that site to get it a cease and desist order.
This is why we can't have nice things. ):<
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Episode 2 is available here as a back-up: http://blip.tv/yamatosfx/saoa-ep-02-6634150
Something Witty Entertainment also uploaded it to their Facebook page.
Oh, man. I haven't laughed this long at an abridged series in forever.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimIt's undoubtedly high quality, both the voice acting and all the little videos (like Scanner headexplosion).
Also, the gamer cat. That was hilarious.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I love that they gave everyone Santa hats in the intro.
Everything is Possible. But some things are more Probable than others. JEBAGEDDON 2016This might be their best episode yet.
I can't wait to see what Silica will be like in future appearances.

Everything is Possible. But some things are more Probable than others. JEBAGEDDON 2016So, I noticed this thread while I was doing a class project at the library today and ended up watching the four episodes when I got home.
I'm really impressed. This is definitely one of the better non-Team Four Star / Little Kuriboh affiliated abridges. Especially like Kirito's characterization.
Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a someone who is going through a long mental breakdown, who is ALSO a legitimate sociopath portrayed as well before.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThis fell down, how sad. New episode was out last month.
what is it with abridged series and incredibly long time between updates?
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Well, I think everyone's trying to imitate the kind of quality that goes into DBZA's editing, except Kaiser Neko is an anomalous human being capable of getting absurd amounts of work done in only a month or two while everyone else is, um, kinda not.
Still makes for some pretty good viewing material in the end though.
but HOW?I'd imagine the process in this is quite similar to Team Four Star's process of creating an episode, but they are a well-oiled machine who do this as a career (sort of, some of them are V As)
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenYou will never be Batman.
The Kirito is always right Foundation returns!
This is hands down the best abridged series I have ever watched.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI have to say, I'll be interested to see what they do with Lizbeth next episode. I totally didn't see racist!Asuna coming. I can only imagine what they do with that seen where Kirito and Lizbeth are falling from the sky, especially the part where Kirito says he can't hear a word she's saying. So much potential for insults.
Friends are just mutual stalkers. Think about it.I can see it now: Lizbeth throws loads of insults at Kirito, and he assumes its a love confession, responding, "I know". She pulls him in for what he thinks is a hug, but then it turns out to be an off-screen, mid-air beatdown.
I hope I'm not the only one here who's seen this.
There are two episodes out right now. Here's the first episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6kJKxvbgZ0
So, thoughts?
