I would have guessed that Bane would have chosen death over working for Waller. Speaking of whom, who are they casting for her.

Why's it matter if she was in JLU? She's perfect for the part.

[up]That is so true. But I figured people aren't too keen on seeing the same actor in more than one major comic book role. But then again, since, in CCH's case, that previous role was animation, I suppose they wouldn't mind making an(other) exception.

It was a combination of Comic-Book Fantasy Casting and Ink-Suit Actor. But really, she owned the role so well I doubt anyone would care. Hardy is a fine actor and did well as Bane, but largely in that specific interpretation. In portraying a genuinely massive bruiser among all these other tall and well-built actors Hardy just won't match up.

If they do bring in Waller, I imagine they're going to use the New 52 Waller and get some thing model-type black actress.

And if they did that, I would have a conniption. Mrs. Frederick Ms. Pounder is Amanda Waller.

>Not a single Batman movie

The fuck you doing, Warner Bros? There should be a Batman movie at least every 3 years, dammit.

I'm sure Batman will be the main character of all their announced movies.

[up][up]We don't know when we are getting a stand alone Batman and Superman movie but we are getting them.

Batman and Superman will be in a movie every two years starting with Batman v Superman and ending with Justice League Part 2.

Look, if they're trying to make this universe a thing it would be a little healthy for them to sort off lay off the bat for a while. The dude's a little... Overexposed right now, we need to get the public to be able to appreciate someone fresh if we want this to work.

More Batman is more better.

Heck, do Batman Beyond, if you must avoid doing one with regular Batman.

Oh that's good. We need to keep Batman fresh in people's minds!

[up][up]Why? He's been fresh in people's minds since, what, the 60s? Even before that? You know, Adam West wich is of course after the popularity of the comics? And then the Burton films, the Schumacher films, and now the Nolan Films? the B:TAS series, Brave and the Bold, Beware the Batman, The Batman cartoon, Batman Beyond, the Arkham games.... And this isn't even going into JL, JLU, Young Justice, and Robin in Teen Titans as Batman by proxy.

We have more than enough Batman to last a lifetime and other heroes deserve to be appreciated by the populous and the general public.

I want people to appreciate Aquaman and his mythos, I'm happy the Flash TV series has ben getting positive reviews, I'm glad Arrow blew up as it did. I want a few of these other guys to have similar pop-culture relevance and reverence as Batman.

Arrow shouldn't really count since he's Batman but with an archery theme.

Batman is starring in Dawn of Justice and the two Justice League movies. Where are people getting the idea DC is trying to put the kibosh on him?

I dunno but the more kibosh the better. There are other and more worthy heroes to focus on.

Fingers crossed for Milestone Comics superheroes.

I'll be honest, I don't even like Batman that much. He's had some good shows and movies but I always preferred people like Superman or Green Lantern. Gotham is good but I'm more interested in the Flash series.

[up]The Flash and The Arrow TV shows are both good, but if you ask me, they're missing something that would make them GREAT shows........

I do have a strong preference for Batman, but I also agree that he needs some time out of the spotlight for right now. Would like to see more Flash/Aquaman/anyone other than Superman and Batman tbh.

They did just that (even if the DCNU hadn't been out back then) in a movie they want to stay away from as much as possible, so there might be hope.
