He doesn't speak in exact terms. What he said can be taken as "Ben Affleck will start directing in a year and a half" or "the movie will be out in a year and a half", to be clear (and not like those awful, awful, awful, awful, awful, awful blogger sites).
Personally, I think it's the latter. The former makes little sense, since they wouldn't be starting production that late when they have so much in place already.
This has the interview with just the DC Films segment

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."So a hypothetical question dawned upon me that if Batgirl or Batwoman were ever to debut in the DCEU, how would they have to sound when in costume? Audiences probably would find female characters speaking like chain smokers more comical than serious.
They don't have to change it as drastically as Christian Bale.
Ben Affleck didn't change it that much but he has a voice modulator to change his voice more.
You just have to do a subtle change in voice when they're in their suit.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe voice modulator makes him sound like a robot.
The coolest fucking robot that ever cooled.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Admittedly better than sounding like you have throat cancer.
Megatron (Welker) takes offense to that.

Megatron is robot with throat cancer, so he dosent count
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Welker's best Megatron performance is in Transformers: Prime.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."The coolest Batman voice will always be Kevin Conroy. He didn't need any modulator to sound badass.
I wonder how much faith Ben had in himself being able to do a good Bat-voice on his own.
Kevin Conroy is the best Batman voice!
If there's anything that I'm looking forward to seeing in the DCEU, it's the potential inclusion of other Gotham heroes such as Kate or Barbara. While Batman is fully occupied with gathering and managing the Justice League, Oracle coordinates other heroes who must rise to take up his mantle as the protector of his city.
Justice League he didn't have a voice modulator when he talked to Cyborg but his voice was still changed. It was just lower than his normal voice.
I still like Keaton's Batman voice it was different than his Bruce Wayne voice but still sounded natural.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI definitely prefer robo-voice. I've never thought of it until I saw Bv S, but Batman should sound unnatural. And not the TDK/TDKR type of unnatural (which is weird, because he sounds good in Batman Begins).
You know who did a growly comic book character voice well? The guy that played Rorschach in Watchmen.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Who wants a "World of Cardboard" Speech moment? Ignoring that Clark already learned first hand that the world is made out of cardboard... oops.
Conroy is definitive for me. The voice modulator makes a certain amount of sense for the late-career Batman with his giant arsenal of Bat-everything, but I prefer the idea that Bruce Wayne can convince people he's not Batman through guile, instead of resorting to gimmicks. Guy trained with the League of Assassins (in some canons), and has lived among the wealthy elite of Gotham all his life. A certain amount of skill at manipulation and subterfuge should be expected. Just one more skill for him to get good at. An assassin needs to be able to hide in plain sight, and so does a Scarlet Pimpernel/Zorro-esque playboy vigilante
Christian Bale's Batman voice got worse and worse through Batman Begins, then became a parody of itself in The Dark Knight. If he'd managed to keep it about where it starts out for the rest of the trilogy, I would have preferred it.
Was a good speech. I feel like it might gel well with this version of the character, that need to always hold back, tying in with a certain distance from others.

I like my Bruce Wayne as a barely-functional, emotionally-stunted barely-rational person. ASBAR Batman would be my ideal Batman if he wasn't so fucking crazy and morally-bankrupt. I like crazy Batman, but not too crazy. I like brutal Batman, but not too brutal (smashing limbs is fine, cracking skulls is fine, but setting people on fire while you have sex with Black Canary is not fine).
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Clark and Bruce need to have their symbiotic friendship that keeps either of them from going of the deep end. There still is a part of Bruce that is still a terrified 8 year old boy. Of course he would deny that, but there is that fight component of the adrenaline response that Batman uses every night. He just doesn't like fleeing the situation, unless there is no other option. And he'd be insulted if Clark ever figured it out and brought it up.

Batman thinks he wants to be alone, but he's really exactly the sort of person who shouldn't. There's a reason for the whole extended Batfamily— Alfred, the Robins, Commissioner Gordon, the Batgirls/-women, Catwoman, and then the Justice League.
Even at this darkest, there is a tendency for other characters to act as foils for Batman, to try and prove his worldview wrong. He can be as dark and brooding as he wants, but there is still hope in most Batman stories— for others, even if he rejects every chance at normal himself. His villains, too, tend to work well because he's a very clear, very rigid character against whom they can react— a force against which they can define themselves.
With such a strong personality always looming over the stories, what's most interesting is to see how others are *not* him, and why.
Joe Manganiello is researching for the role of Deathstroke
If he is already researching the role then it should be ready to film soon.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureIs he going to go "full Jared Leto" and try to assassinate the rest of the cast before the cameras start rolling?
No he is just reading Deathstroke comics to understand the character from the comics.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
So when Flash was suppose to be in March of 2018.
Everyone was thinking October 5th 2018.
