I've writing up a background info as to the why of laser eyes, Richard is roastbeef until such a time that I can find some faceclaim of a gaunt-looking person with something that looks kinda like a crossbow, and the reflecting attributes was due to his claims of being able to defend the walls even if it were made of butter. All things being equal, were there HS in the Crusades, it really doesn't seem particularly unlikely a couple have some kind of NP that can be classified as Anti-Fortress. Nevertheless, it's been edited out.

Let's put it this way: reflecting Excalibur with a wall is liable to be successful as eating the butter castle with chopsticks.

Uh... also, I think the complaint is because eyes of that rank are known to belong to exactly one thing, aside from the Shiki's who are ALSO rejected. Said character would probably be highly unlikely to get accepted because there's very little that can be done to counter them when paired with an intelligent master.

Also because 'suppression' is completely undefined, I suppose.

Eh, it wouldn't reflect Excalibur anyway. Greater mysteries trumping lesser ones and all that.

I'm willing to concede on the issue of Mystic Eyes, and usually wouldn't mind looking for some other gimmicks.

But, death-ray glares. Call me sentimental, but I really liked the idea of Ancient Japanese Laser eyes beam.

(As for <<Suppression>>, what I meant was it forces an advancing enemy to halt or looks for cover.)

If you want an NP, look around for Noble Phantasms that almost certainly survived from whenever they were created and could theoretically be activated in limited form with enough effort. Also consider something that might make a catalyst for a Servant already in here.

In addition to what Rain has mentioned, Bravery needs to be lowered to B at most. A-rank Bravery is reserved for people like Heracles, who fought monsters.

Bravery was more for flavour than anything. It's in the name.

Frankly, I could careless about it being NP. I just want my laser eyes, is all.

Well, she still shows sorrow but that's an exception. She is also mindful of energy conservation so if her Master leaves the lights on in the bathroom after use, she will turn it off for him.

Thaumaturgical attacks involving no material existence — wind manipulation, energy bullets, beam attacks — are converted to electricity and rendered without effect, discharged into the environment. Absorbed electricity may be used to implement rapid self-repair and physical attribute reinforcement. Noble Phantasms above the Rank of B that produce magical attacks that Galvanism may be able to convert are reduced in power by 1/2th. This does not allow for Berserker to heal herself or use the physical attribute reinforcement.

  • Bridal Chest: A Maiden's Chastity — Anti-Personal — Rank C: A large mace used by the Servant as a striking weapon, which gives off discharges electricity with the appearance of tree branches. In reality, the Servant's reactor core / heart is contained within the large spherical bulb, and the fin on the opposite end remotely transfers energy to the Servant's main body. With high efficiency, the implement continuously gathers energy wasted by the Servant or present in her surroundings, and is constantly manifested outside of combat to power her. If exposed to a high-prana environment — for example, in the midst of combat — the function of Galvinism and the Bridal Chest combine to qualify the Noble Phantasm as a "Type II Perpetual Motion Engine."
  • Blasted Tree: The Lightning Tree of Crucifixion — Anti-Army — Rank B: Use of the Bridal Chest in a suicide move — the fin of the mace is planted into the ground, and the reactor's limiters are completely released, discharging all gathered electricity into the surrounding environment as an area of effect attack with target homing; momentarily giving the Noble Phantasm in the silhouette of a towering tree. May be implemented from the Servant's own body rather than the Bridal Chest if the enemy force is a single opponent within short range. Use of this technique results in permanent deactivation.
