What if Gargoyles went in another direction?

I always felt it was more "Greg trying to set up as many possible spin-offs as possible", which is kinda true.

Anything that doesn't have to have Gargoyles angsting is fine with me.

That's why "Deadly Force" is my least favorite Gargoyles episode.

I actually like that episode for handling gun responsibility without coming off as too preachy and actually leaving some lasting impact in Elisa and Broadway.

Not to mention it's one of those times where even the soccer moms actually praised it, instead of wanting to ban it for gun use.

Aaaaaaaand then the episode got pulled for promoting violence. Because acknowledging that something is real is the same thing as promoting it.

Imagine if all of Greg's proposed spin-offs were picked up. Bad Guys, Pendragon, and Timedancer seem like I might have liked them.

I imagine the bubble would burst and we'd get sick of it pretty quickly. Or he'd burn himself out, or lose control of them or something.

I meant as an ongoing show. I've read the comic, and I think it definitely showed promise.

I always felt that Angela was meant to show what Demona would have been like as a good Gargoyle. Even the name suggests it.

So, do you think they could have had Hudson die of old age and make it meaningful and poignant?
