Hey, folks! This is the discussion/OOC thread for Hero's Arms, Hero's Heart. I'm glad to have you all with me - I think you'll like what I've got planned for you all.

Yay! Soon the adventure begins!

The first post is up! Remember that your characters believe their own backstories, but they do have some extent of amnesia. For instance, an Arm that believed he was a merchant would know where he was (Lovak), what his name was, that he was a merchant, and why he came to the city (to sell stuff, presumably), but everything else would be a blur.

Well, I decided to start with something less conventional. I'll revert to traditional prose next post.

Are the weapons supposed to be somewhere, or can they be anywhere?

You can start wherever you like that would be appropriate to your backstory - or not, if you want a fun exercise in seeing how Cecil rationalizes apparently having passed out in an alley or something. =)

Now, I can't seem to remember if I originally included this or that I edited it in, so i'll ask as though I forgot. Is it cool for Bo to have a hunting/skinning knife on him, Red?

And while we're piling on requests, how about a horse for me? Since I'm rocking the whole scouting bit, at least in my characters head.

@Paragon: Yup, yup. As a hunter, it only makes sense.

@good: That, unfortunately, I'm gonna have to decline. Gear is one thing, but manifesting a living creature would require Nidhoggr's Maw to split its soul into three pieces instead of two.

Also, if Hasame has Artin wake up in the bar we're gonna have a Gruff And Manly overload.

I was thinking of him being in the bar, but walking in.

Claw, I'm gonna have to ask you to do a bit of editing on that post. It's understandable, but a little messy.

How many accents have Gudrod and Martell butchered in the first page alone?

daltar, you and Karrin should figure out if you want Aelin and Mia to meet up before Mia reaches Beggarsgate, because they're not going to get inside quite that easily.

Also, once Artin's on the ground and any ongoing fights or whatnot have been cleared up, something's going to happen. =)

Hmmm since Karrin has not posted in a little while... perhaps have the obstacles appear and they can join in when they see it?

And now I jump in the mix.

I'll be more than happy to have Bo find the bag and meet up with Artin once I know that Red's okay with that entrance.

Yea....it might've been too much but I didn't want him coming in from a point used already.
