Ew... They're actually putting the New 52 members and costumes on television...
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Nobody likes Nu52. Funny commercial, though.
New 52 JL has been one of their biggest sellers, from what I understand. And most of the general audience doesn't care either way.
Say whatever you want, Flash patting his pockets was pretty funny.
I'm disappointed Batman didn't offer to pay.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsHow? It's not like he carries around a bat credit card or anything.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. He carries cash.

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsWhat IS this "52" thing, exactly?
An ill-conceived Continuity Reboot with a bunch of (mostly-crappy) new redesigns. Many of which seem like blatant attempts at "moviefied" costumes.
...and which for some reason is MOST OF DC'S COMIC OUTPUT!
Why "52"? What is that number's significance?

They launched with 52 books.
Also they are trying to remind people of 52.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des Ursins52 was a pretty decent miniseries from 2006 in which it's revealed that there are 52 universes in the DC multiverse. Like said, they're probably trying to evoke memories that story with the name.

The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. The title of the 2006 mini-series is derived from the fact that there are 52 weeks in the year, and that was, if I remember correctly, a weekly series. It also introduced the idea of 52 alternate realities to replace DC's old "infinite Earths" multiverse. The "new 52" is apparently supposed to evoke all of this, but, really, it's kind of lost it's original meaning at this point, and it's kind of a silly thing to brand their whole line with.
What will they call it after the next reboot? The old new 52?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! They'll just call the new one the Nu 52.
Saw this in theaters before Man of Steel. Thought it looked silly.
Thought this was kind of cool.
