Sucks. Well, 4 hours here until new season.
"We be we baby!"Sweet. My dad's been waiting a while. We watch the show together. It's his style of comedy, which is nice and simple. But he likes a lot of CN/Adult Swim humor(Family Guy, Regular Show, for exampel).
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Well, the season premiere was worth getting up early for! There seems to be a lot more polish this time, and the animation is much smoother. Hope they manage to keep it up throughout the season.
Saw it! Unfortunately, I had to use my DVR because damn, 6:00 is too early for Saturday morning cartoons! I also noticed that they dropped Qui Do from the production, and Technicolor animations gave it a major tune up. I can live with that.
About the episode, I was fairly pleased to see the first tiger in a Sonic series that wasn't a threatening enemy or Fan-fic character(Which I believe this show still runs on). Plus, the battle scenes no longer have crappy generic action music, but now have actually good action music, even near the end, they play the Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog theme music!!! Great work on this one. The writing still ruins things for me, like it's trying for a improv type style and it has to stay within its TV-Y range.
7/10: Sonic Unleashed
"We be we baby!"Actually, OuiDO! apparently got bought out by Technicolor and that's their new name. So they're still working on the show.
Ok! Well, I see a lot of improvements.
"We be we baby!"Literally all tigers in Sonic are good guys.
Geez. I'm on central time, so it originally aired at 6:00 where I am. I was wondering if they have moved it.
Anyway, the animation is much better. Glad to see that. The action sequences seem more elaborate too, and I hope that continues. I thought the contrast between Tommy's self-aware egotism and Sonic's oblivious egotism was amusing. Got a few chuckles out of the episode, but I won't be writing home about it.
Mike Pollock's first few lines took me by surprise, because he sounded a lot more tired than he normally does. His later lines had a bit more of his usual energy.
Anyone noticed that they repeated the "Say the same thing every time you give someone an autograph" joke from the Justin Beaver episode.
"Now I gotta put on pants."
I missed it, and I legit cannot find it through totally legal means, which means almost nobody actually watched it or got up early enough to record it.
Goddamit Cartoon Network.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it through totally legal means. The door joke, the melon sculpture, Amy's continued Magical Skirt powers, and Tails being less impressed by Sonic's praise got laughs out of me.
Sonic being overshadowed again was kind of meh.

Well, isn't this great?! No new episode this Saturday, Steven Universe is the substitute for the time being.
"We be we baby!"Wait, no new episode this Saturday? First we get the 0700 death slot, then the 0600 death slot, and now this? Is it me, or is Cartoon Network trying to kill this series?
Either that or they are trying to get it on a better time, like 8:00, but I can't tell what these executives are thinking.
"We be we baby!"It gets worse. The next episode, "Spacemageddonocalypse", doesn't air until December 3rd.
FUCK. ME.
They might as well just make it the series finale for making us wait that long!
"We be we baby!"One more month ain't so bad. It sucks, and they've treated this cartoon like a red-headed stepdaughter, but at least we're getting more of Boom.
"No will to break."I mean, that's true, but I'm just tired of it being so mistreated.
I feel like this show deserves better than this.
...In probably the same death timeslot as before. I wish this series were on the hub / Discovery Family now, at least then, the show would have been shown over and over every weekday morning to keep up ratings.
What are the chances this will be its final season due to all this dickery?

"We be we baby!"About the same as me reading this thread again?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Slim, Ok.
"We be we baby!"Pretty good, but I don't think it'd be just because of CN's treatment. The show's ultimate reception was mixed, and I wasn't seeing much hype for season 2, which leads me to think that a lot of people lost interest in the year long gap between seasons.
Good news, people! Season two will officially premiere on Boomerang this Saturday at 6 PM ET!
And for those of you who are somewhat concerned, Cartoon Network will start airing reruns of the episode premieres on the 19th!

Way better than the 6AM deal.
"We be we baby!"
Can't. As far as I know it's not aired here.
