:D Yeah this review is really funny. Though I still think Critic makes too big a deal out of particular things.
.... where is Malcolm? Is he absent? Is that why we're seeing Orlando here instead? It IS very satisfying seeing Orlando after a long time though.
Again, he's trying to be funny; not in that him simply making a big deal of something is funny, but in that he feels that it's funny to specifically make big deals out of certain aspects of what he's talking about. I'd like to think that if this were just Doug as himself, he wouldn't be making such a big deal out all of these different things.
...am I the only one who noticed a decent amount of Irish jokes in today's review?
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! No, no; I noticed them too. I'll swear it on my blarney stone.
Was I the only one who wanted Linkara to at least cameo during this? Especially the parts about 'justice'. I'm sure he would have had a field day with the parts were Matt beats a man to death in front of his sun or the guy who got bisected by a train.
I also kind of agree on how this doesn't handle the Handicapped Badass trope very well since Matt might as well not be blind. In fact, I remember a liveblog on this site that criticised this trope when it appeared on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

At least Toph does have more consistency to her powers that let her circumvent blindness, and still can't do fine tasks like put a sign facing the right way or perform well over water.
I considered snarking that there aren't any Braille Daredevil comics, but apparently Marvel has audiobook versions of them. That's actually pretty cool!
I assume reading is at least a thing Daredevil has problems with
which means lawyer would basically be the worst profession for him possible. Lawyers do SO MUCH READING
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I'm pretty sure there are braille and audio versions of law books out there. They would as dull as read normally but they are out there.
On a similar note, his sense of touch is apparently so good that he can read the imprint of ink off books. I think that was said in like the first issue. I don't it would surprise anyone that the Nostalgia Critic isn't the only one who says Daredevil's powers make his blindness redundant. Linkara pointed out himself.

Orlando posted this on Facebook:
''Hey, guys. Malcolm is doing just fine. In fact, he was off camera doing a lot of behind-the-scenes, while we were filming the review. Doug thought he was going to be out of town during the filming, so he wrote him out. Afterwards, Malcolm, Doug and I all hung out for dinner, chatting about before heading home. So yes, everything is okay Malcolm. There are no problems with him and the site; rest assured. I hope this was helpful, and I sure hope I wasn't too awful in this video. Take care, everyone.''

That's reassuring to know. Wouldn't have minded at least a quick cameo from Malcolm as the Kingpin, perhaps.
I was kinda hoping he would talk about how promising the Daredevil Netflix series looked to be.
Eh, c'est la vie. Good review anyway.
Anyone notice how the "artist's rendition" of Bullseye is his comic book persona complete with the blue costume? That means Doug knows this character could look even more ridiculous for a supposed assassin.
His Daredevil review I thought was okay. Great skits (made me realize just how far Marvel's come), but the actual review seemed to nitpick a bit too much for my tastes.
That, and he didn't seem to know about the far superior Director's Cut (was hoping he's recommend it, like he did when reviewing The Thief And The Cobbler, when he pointed out the superior Recobbled Cut). Did he just not care to look it up?

I thought the Director's Cut was out of print.
didnt stop Cinema Sins from reviewing that version
So, at the end of Eric Rodriguez's latest Blockbuster Buster review, link here, a crossover with Doug is teased.
Nice! I like ERod.
Just a person. He/him.Didn't stop me from getting a Blu-Ray of it for Christmas. (Then again, it might have a different distributor in Canada. Probably Alliance Atlantis).

Not Three Laws compliant.I think on Blu-ray, the Director's Cut is the only version available.

Doug and Rob on Cinderella 2015: http://channelawesome.com/sibling-rivalry-cinderella/
The repeated calling of the mice "rats" is going to be the next leopard-cheetah debacle, isn't it?
Holy Crap!
The Nostalgia Critic and The Blockbuster Buster teaming up?! I may have gone on record saying I saw TF 4 as a step up compared to the other three movies, but this I gotta see!
Chester A. Bum and Nerdlinger will make cameos.
Currently, in my insane Blockbuster Buster marathon in order to get as caught up as possible before the crossover, I am at the Top Ten Crossover Battles That I Want To See video, from August 2012. (Irony!) Will I get caught up before the Trans4mers video? NO!
One of the funnier reviews in a while.
