The movie is just random for the sake of being random :S

Oh, I'm sure this won't bother anyone at all.
My various fanfics. After watching the video, the description was kind of click bait. He talks about whether the movie actually holds up or not.
Which, I think, would be part of the reason for the backlash, which he does go into a bit, so I think the description works.
Oh God! Natural light!I have to ask, I was looking at the YMMV page (big mistake I know) and I saw Hyper Fangirl listed as the series' Scrappy? I dunno, is she hated? I don't post at TGWTG forums but I have seen any backlash against the character. Typically whenever something Doug does gets disliked by the masses, the controversy spills over here as well but I don't remember HFG being treated as that big of a deal.
I dunno how hated she is, but apparently SOMETHING got Doug to write her "apparent" death at the end of the last review. Now we don't SEE her die so he left it up in the air (no pun intended) if they want to see her actually brought back or not.

I haven't watched the last review yet, but I didn't find her particularly funny in her appearances before that.
Looking for some stories?Yeah this whole thing seems odd.
I thought the reason why she appeared in 2 following reviews after her initial appearance, because he either liked her so much, or the fans like her so much.
... and then they kill her off?
Well, he outright said in the review that if she died or not would all depend on fan reaction and if enough fans wanted her back.
Sooo yeaaaaah, you guys might as well delete the scrappy entry, its probably someone's own personal opinion they think as fact again
Speaking of which, what has fan response been about this outside this site?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI remember reading one thing earlier on the YMMV page (or possible on the page history) that said that Hyper Fangirl was somewhat similar to the whole "Fake Geek Girl" thing in the latest review.
...I'll admit, that's a stereotype that needs to die, and it could easily be seen as something like that.
Oh God! Natural light!My god..
I take back all of the thoughts I had on this guy. He's actually...pretty good! I expected to be bored, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've only watched 5 of his reviews, all which were from 2010, and all of them were hilarious. While his voice can be a bit too irritating at times, his humor definitely makes up for it.
That's the last time I judge a book by its cover on the Internet :D
Supports cartoons being cartoony!Which 5 did you watch?
Bebe's Kids, Flubber, Home Alone 3, Drop dead Fred, and Rover Dangerfield. All very funny :3
Supports cartoons being cartoony!Welcome to the club!
Well, if what his trope page says is true, then Doug's fans have done some stuff that was kind of creepy, so I suppose it's not without foundation. I just think that the whole thing with her trying to...um...seduce him with a lot of nostalgic stuff is kind of evocative of the whole thing. Then again, she actually managed to hold her own fairly well in an argument with him about the Spider Man movies, so maybe she can't really be described as a "fake" geek.
Though I do have to wonder how someone that obsessive didn't know that he hated Michael Bay...

Oh God! Natural light!I thought it was a flaw he gave to the character to make her actually able to break.
^Even though the queen reacts exactly the same way audience would, its still not really funny joke, its just "WTF"
