Apparently (i.e. forum hearsay), no. She's a clone.

But (also hearsay), the previous revues are all still alive anyway. They're just trapped in another dimension.

So they've been first dub DBZed eh? Those dastardly villains trapping people in other dimensions. It never ends.

um, no. Its actually the heroes who trapped the kouma emperor there. During the war, they realized this was the only way to stop the extremely powerful kouma emperor. So they created what is basically another dimension, a copy of the capital, called Gento (phantom capital) to fool the enemy and seal them there. All of them are still inside fighting the enemies. Sakura Shinguji even gave some help to the new imperial revue by healing or reviving the members who were critically injured. Yasha is a just a copy created by the villain, using some of the original's hair. Its clear the first game is just the first part of a series. There are some plotlines that haven't been resolved completely.

the plot of the game is that some of the Kouma that are still active in the real world are trying to open Gento and free the emperor. They almost managed to do that, and Genan Soutetsu, the main villain of the game was even receiving power directly from the emperor during the end. But, thanks to the Imperial revue with help from the Shanghai, Berlin and London revue, they managed to complete a ritual the original revues used to seal Gento previously. They will probably revisit this plotline in future games.

I really hope in future games, we can play as the international revue members and to also romance them. I really like Lancelot and Elise(nana mizuki is amazing as always).

I'm hoping for more International Revues. Maybe a Mexico Revue? I do remember an old idea I had for a Sakura Wars game taking place in Mexico with Aztec Gods as the Villains.

Moscow Revue is referenced as a candidate during the Revue competition in the game.

I wonder if Sakura Wars version of Russia and China are still ruled by Emperors or are now republics since the end of Shin Sakura Wars reveals Sakura Amamiya is being transferred to the Shanghai team after the defeat of the Big Bad.

mind you, that's only for the sakura epilogue though, each heroine has a diferrent epilogue depending on who you choose. The real ending is the kagekidan concert. Of the epilogues sakura is my favorite, it helps that its also homage to Sakura Shinguji's ending in the original game, where Ogami chases Sakura who is on a train, but claris' is pretty great too. Hopefully we will get a lancelot and elise epilogue in the next game Probably like the original games, you can carry on your saved game to the next one.

What I hope for shin sakura 2

-Obviously, I hope we can play as and also romances the international Kagekidan members . Also, I hope they will show us London and Berlin members in their citizen attire, especially Lancelot and Elise

- What is special about the Amamiya family. I mean, we know they need the life of a female member of the Amamiya family to make the Imperial Key for the gento, but we still don't know why their bloodline is special

- Hopefully, more info about Kamiyama

- Who or what is Hakushuu, I mean Oboro clearly knew her and even said that they used to slaughter humans together. Is she a human or Kouma or what?

- Whether there is a way to save the old Kagekidan member without reviving the Kouma Emperor

Sega has trademarked Sakura Wars B.L.A.C.K, Sakura Ishin (Restoration), and Sakura Kakumei (Revolution).

Looks like the PS4 game probably worked to revive the franchise if Sega's hedging their bets with these trademarks .

Anyway, today I learned that "Project B.L.A.C.K.", is apparently for a mobile game called Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi or Sakura Revolution.

...And now it's going belly-up on June 30 after only being up since December 2020, I guess due to underperformances?

No one here played this game, right? Seems like it's one of those Japan-only mobile games...

A real tragedy because the main girl, Shino Sakura, looks cute.
