Entirely feasible, but a change in precedent that I wouldn't assume it immediately. I'd have no doubts if they tried to, they could, though.

So, many alpha patches later, it is in Steam early access for some time now. NDA is lifted. My laptop barely runs it in LEGO mode, but I enjoy it. I have a fondness for CSM Sorcerer(and Stalker Bolter). Heal friends and Power Sword your enemies. ^^ I can't wait for more power options.

“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.I love this game.... every time I spawn as a Devastator I say 'now you are a devastator brother!', so many fanboy opportunities, all it needs is the Imperial Guard in some shape or form.... personally I'd be happy with a Baneblade hunt/defend the Baneblade or something like that

advancing the front into TV TropesI'd really like the Necrons to eventually show up, but I think the game has a good foundation as is. Its fun.
maybe as another NPC faction? cos Crons are a tad OP
advancing the front into TV TropesI think they could be balanced well, actually, as long as they were made less mobile and didn't have healing options outside of their own regeneration and reanimation protocols. Their melee options would also be slower and generally less effective outside of specialist units.
That's neither here nor there, however. They still have half of the vanilla races missing from Early Access. Speculating on what could come next is a very long game kind of situation. Plus, if I'm being honest, people would demand Tau first.
Part of the problem with including Guardsmen or Tau is that pound-for-pound they're weaker than space marines (if I understand correctly), so there might be a balancing problem, there. Having said that, their smaller size and understanding of the term "subtlety" might help them out.
So, groups I'd include if it were me:
Tau
Necrons
Gue'vesa
Admech
Sisters of Battle
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"new update, and it is awesome, it adds the pansy space elves (for those inclined to play them) and a load of faction specific equipment for you to purchase, it doesn't add any extra punch, but looks awesome
advancing the front into TV TropesThe Eldar play well, by the way, but currently suffer a handicap in that their aerial class (Swooping Hawks) and melee class (Banshees) are still in development.
bastards almost nerfed meltas, they now overheat extremely quickly, too quickly to score a kill with
advancing the front into TV TropesIt'll swing back. The Eldar equivalent is useless as a result.
really? I keep getting killed by Fire Dragons, bastards seem to be a tad OP
advancing the front into TV TropesTheir weapons overheat riduclously fast. Its like the single-load shotgun of meltaguns.
meanwhile Imperial meltas seems to have been nerfed, I can't get a kill with the standard one, and the multi-melta overheats too quickly to get more than one kill at close range...
advancing the front into TV TropesI honestly don't know. I don't like using the meltas.
EDIT: I can now say for sure that the Fire Dragon's melta has been nerfed to hell. It is nearly non-functional.

It has launched!
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Yes it has. Its a pretty good game at this point. The publisher rushed the launch date, but with continued support I really think this game is set for the moment.
I missed everything that happend from the introdoction of Eldar. Someone can fill me in?
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Eldar and Orks are in. There are more maps. The game isn't 100% yet, but its still fun to play. The largest maps and game types are still to come. The first major expansion will come around December. it'll add Terminators and equivalents for other factions.
Orks are fairly underpowered. Eldar border on the other end. I personally think that the other factions just haven't adjusted to the stuff Eldar just got, though. Fighting against Banshees and Swooping Hawks is strange to say the least.

Is it open-world, as it was pitched? Or has it become a lobby shooter?
Free2play and unique squad formations? Buffs from numbers? Quantity has a quality of its own, they say.
