Arkham City is the second game. Someone should really change that tile.

I was playing Arkham City two days ago. I had finished the story but was still playing the main game to finish up some side missions. While listening to some thug banter in front of the courthouse, one of them said, "So, Joker's dead. Who's next?" when out of nowhere, a loud voice boomed, "You." I then heard a scream, turned on Detective Vision, and all of the thugs in front of the courthouse were dead. When I swooped down to investigate, I unlocked a new side mission called "Death's Angel", so I can presume the villain was the Phantasm.
The problem is, I have never heard of or read about this side mission. Is it an Easter Egg, a glitch, or something completely different? Also, if anyone else has gotten this side mission out of nowhere, what do you need to do?
