Alright, so here's the shindig.

From tomorrow to Sunday, I'll be on Rio de Janeiro! This means that, while I'll still have internet access, I won't have much time to use it and it'll be limited to my iPod. So while I'll be here, keeping an eye out for everything and talking to you guys on the discussion thread, I won't be able to post until Sunday evening-late afternoon.

Which is why I'm posting on everything. So, yeah.

Victorian Crossover Forever

I'd rather think of it as Beyond Victorian Crossover 2.

Anyway, I'm ready to post the intro, but I'm still looking for a better title... any ideas?

The Streets of london?

Wayward Victoria?

How about The Gaslight Chronicles?

Also, is it just me, or is there a lack of female characters here? We have one. I feel like we could use at least another, or something. How will the GM's character be?

Assming we ever play this record one vote for Gaslight Chronicles.

Well shit, actually, there appears to be a series called that already. Er, so I'm retracting that but if others like it still some other terms with gaslight in them.

Alternatively, T Vtropes has this down as Gaslamp, so maybe the Gaslamp chronicles?

Now now, no need for that. I've been spending the last few days constructively, visiting the library in order to brush up on my Victorian literature, and to prepare myself to ape Alan Moore's technique of inserting as many references to famous and obscure works as possible, regardless of whether it's relevant or meaningful!

As for a title, how does The Cabinet of Curiosities sound? It seems vaguely relevant, and it's a pointless reference!

Hmmm. Nice title, but we appear to not possess a cabinet within this establishment. Perhaps we might entitle our venture A Cavalcade of Curiosities? No, that may be considered too whimsical. Mayhaps, then, one might say that our characters are united into a front resembling a cabinet meeting, through which many curiosities are encountered?

The cabinet is abstract.

No-one in the colony believes in LoEG! There is no such thing as LoEG! LoEG does not exist! There is no LoEG!

I think we should just stick to the Boring, but Practical 'Victorian Crossover'. Then people will find it easier to find the sign up pages, discussion pages and so on.

Well, it lacks the whimsy and adventure of say, "The Splendiferous Zeppelin Escapades of Filliam H. Muffman"...

(Also, there won't be a shortage of female characters once we get started, I assure you.)
