Well Zoe(again, look up The Fine Young Capitalists for the drama between them) and Antia are a given, the thing with Christina happened in this thread.
As for the general trends? Look around this forum, Twitter, Tumblr, Deviant Art(when certain subjects come up), read up on what happened to Jon Tron, look up a women dubbed "big red", seek out Tenaflyviper on Tumblr and talk to her(she can give you an entire lesson plan on everything wrong with the SJ movement, especially feminism because she's one herself and has all but given up the label in disgust).
Dig around and find the videos of how some of these people act in public, search crazy *insert group here* on Youtube and behold the stupid things these people do in public.
Huh? What's that in reply to?
It's not a "proper term" without context. "Retard" is a proper term, too. But if I said "(X Journalist) is a retard", the term is being used wrong, and without any context.
No. Who are they? What specific actions did they do to be called misandrists? And what evidence do you have, that I should agree with that label?
No. Who are they? What specific actions did they do to be called bigots and bullies? And what evidence do you have, that I should agree with that label?
A little better. Examples of what you're talking about would work for discussion and debate, though.
Sure. That's a name and an accusation.
No, because that's a conclusion you've already made. What are the evidence for and against her?
No. Who are they? What specific actions did they do to be called entitled or brats? And what evidence do you have, that I should agree with that label?
Some of that stuff seemed to be about Quinn (the twitter post was about her private information), so that's disqualified.
The hacked database specifically draws a line between "SJ Ws" and "gamers", so that's disqualified.
Many, MANY links in that database are specifically about SJ Ws vs. gamers, feminists, and so forth. So I'm going to need you to show me which ones wouldn't be disqualified.

Well, I could spoon-feed you how the real world works and spend the next few days writing you a damn thesis on things that should be as obvious to you as "the sky is blue" or you could think for yourself and research the things I advised and see them for yourself without my guidance or bias looming over your shoulder the why I've had to as I form my own thoughts and opinions.

No, if you have an argument, make it. It's not my job to research your argument for you.

So because SOME mention it, its ALL disqualified. Wonderful.
Guess what, I don't care about the SJW focus some people have, I ignore it, because I believe it is a lot more than whatever SJW stuff that those folk wanna comment on.

"It's not my job to educate you..."
I think your choices of which paragraphs to reply to are interesting, Zeal.
Aszur: ... people who have been personally engaged in this thread the entire time have largely answered your question, I think, but I was going to bring up the allegations surrounding Fine Young Capitalists, and Leigh Anderson, and those regarding racketeering by Polytron via IGF and Indiecade.

@Thorn: As I said, show me the links that don't mention it at all.
@ninjaclown: Are you kidding? The first paragraph is about Quinn.
I specifically said "non-Quinn". Because supposedly you guys are OH-SO-TIRED of this subject.
No, but if you're making an argument, it's your job to make it and not ask me to do it for you.

What about the topics I brought up Zeal? You were Sincerity Mode wanting to know about them.
here they are again.
The fact that journalists are buddy buddy with developers who support each other through Patreon?
Or how Journalists get flown out for free in nice rooms to reviews/previews?
How about the fact that 10 different sites all decided to decry their own audience at the same time?
How about the fact that Leigh Alexander can say horrible slimy things on Twitter and get a free ride and even write for Time?

What about them? Give me some links, or else I'll have to Google it myself when I have time.
EDIT: Okay, there we go.
Well, there's a lot there to talk about. Which topic do you want to start with?

If you have time to try to argue with five other people in this thread simultaneously you have time to do a little reading.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable...Or I don't have time to read because I'm arguing in this thread.
EDIT: Also, no. Still not my job to make anyone's argument for them.

Well I'm bowing out for now so -1
This is the kind of thing I was fearing with that whole page I was crying about earlier: "I don't want to talk about Zoe Quinn, let's talk about <insert name here>".
If Gamergate is to truly have a discussion of ethics in video game journalism, it cannot be about any specific person. Not Zoe Quinn. Not Anita Sarkeesian. Not Leigh Alexander. Not even Phil goddamn Fish. The practices in question are practices that involve and are in a way encouraged by big corporations, so why not focus on them? Unless you want to say that any particular person can easily influence the industry, and no, those names I listed can't do shit.

Reading is a prerequisite to arguing.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableWhat so, you just can call everything I link biased and dismiss it like you do almost every time someone posts a link in here? I could get a Tumblr post of horrible things feminists have done(with links to outside sources) and show it to you right now. I could go find that article about Christina again(both the one bashing her and one disproving it), I could go find all those links about the Fine Young Capitalist mess, but are you going to even listen?
@noa: Not entirely. Someone can summarize their arguments as well. However, I will read, if I have the oportunity.
By the way, Noa, since you feel that way: What do you think about these?
@shodoni: You're arguing in bad faith. Just because you post a source doesn't mean it has to be accepted as proof.
Remember, a source is not proof. It's only a source of information.

Zeal is telling me to name names or my points are invalid so I have idea what to even say at this point.
Here is a nice article talking about the possible outcome of this thing: http://adland.tv/adnews/gamergate-insulting-consumers-shrinks-market/1027025677
While I doubt that a video game crash can happen, it does have a point on how all of this name calling can turn away parents form buying new consoles. If this thing keeps going, how long be fore the big guys get involved in this thing? And if they do, will game journalism be changed. Lets face this, the some of the sites are hurting from this and can face possible closing down. If that were to happen how would information get out for new games? Will people go the Nintendo route or will they just use facebook and their own websites.
Most parents don't read any of the sites that turned their backs on self-identifying gamers. Or any sites that are part of the online community. They usually buy what their kids ask for, and rarely even look at the ratings.
