Bit stupid name though
"Stomping Grounds" might have been better.
I have a message from another time...Huh, true.
Though no game should have word "stomping" in the name
Anyway, this looks like a promising idea.
I have a message from another time...Stompa disagrees.
If only I had some disposable funds, I would pitch in in an instant.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Men$15.
Jonah FalconThat is currently not disposable funds for me.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI liked the stretch goals. They're not going to add content, just manpower.
Jonah FalconInteresting. I like the speed in the game. Humans were runners, and the act of running prey to the ground will be very satisfying. I wonder what melee weapons in the game will be like.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenTomahawk, I'm wagering.
Jonah FalconSpears and knives are what I am hoping for. A spear with a raptor head on the tip...
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThere are going to be people who make it their entire goal in the game to murder the T-Rex. If I played, I'd probably be one of them.
Do the in-game character models look like any particular tribes, or are they just generic tribal hunters?
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThis game looks very neat. I'm hoping there will be a variety of character customizations, but if the gameplay is as good as it looks it won't be a big deal for me.
Tattoos, maybe?
Jonah FalconI would like to at least have the option of choosing gender. I don't care about the hunter-gatherer gender roles, their are dinosaurs.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenIt's out on Steam now.
So... how is it?
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Just got my beta copy.
The lead developer has vanished and members of the dev team are still owed money.
So it's another Greenlight scam. Why did this particular idea have to end up this way? Almost nobody save for Peter Molyneux has ever tried this sort of setting, and with more time and development it could've been a real treat. Then again, this thread started all the way back in 2013, and given that it's February 2015 now and still in beta I guess it was showing signs all along of becoming future vaporware. *Sighs*

(I haven't been following this game closely, so my knowledge may be incomplete or inaccurate.)
If I recall correctly, didn't the developer disappear for a while and then return some time ago? Have they been gone for longer than was the case then? I'm wondering whether this might not turn out to be another such instance.
If this is an actual scam, then it seems like one that called for an awful lot of work on the scammer's part. Indeed, even if the developer has abandoned the project entirely, I do think that it's still plausible that it's for reasons other than greed or malice.
