What would you call a pirate game that gets pirated before release?
Because I don't think "hilariously ironic" fits as much as I'd like it to.
A pirated pirate game!
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEE"Yo dawg, I heard you like pirates..."
Real life pirates, at least in the Great Age of Piracy, actually did rather little actual pirating. Even Edmund Teach had a helluva lot of downtime between setting his beard and powder laced matches braided into it on fire.
Just sayin'
What's the point of having a bunch of money if you can't spend it?
(Related note, pirates burying their treasure was thus highly uncommon)
So... that means that aspiring treasure hunters should poke around the sites of old brothels and bars instead?
They could also just steal things
Because Sid Meiers Pirates was made.

Yeah, those games don't even know what the name "Pirate" means. Sky Pirates are essentially adventurers or treasure hunters. Not really big on the piracy angle of being a pirate.
Really, the GTA games are better Pirate games than those two, since what you do there is closer to piracy!
