Yeah I didn't remember anything of the sort. Were you thinking of like, that cloak thing that she was wearing over it? Or the initial encounter with the uniform?

She quite clearly cut something when she met the costume.

It ate one of the threads from the boxer's uniform. I'm guessing that maybe it will get less skimpy as the show goes on, in an inversion of how it normally goes.

yeah. I'm figuring there'll be a mass slaughter of One-stars pretty soon that'll upgrade it into something more wearable in an everyday manner.

after all, if senketsu with zero goku threads absorbed can absolutely dominate a 2 star with no effort, an army of one stars has no chance

Also, the Underwater group translated the name of the costumes as "Ultima Uniform" and that is a more accurate translation.

I say we should use that.

Bah. Senketsu is shorter and easier to pronounce.

And sounds more like a name that just happens to have a meaningful meaning.

Nah. 極制服 is the name of the thing and one part of this word means "Uniform".

The other one can either be 10 elevated to the 48th power or "climax; extreme; extremity; culmination; height; zenith; nadir"

Ultima Uniform is very appropriate.

Although I do agree things seem a bit rushed. On the one hand, this does match the show's lunatic atmosphere, but on the other hand, slowing down as time goes on might help establish some important details before Trigger inevitably breaks the throttle and shifts over to nitrous.

Although she hasn't wear it, but Student Council president appears to have her own version of senketsu, albeit, white with right eye instead on the left (on Ryuko's version). I guess we'll go through a bunch of these 2 stars elite mook before going onto the 4 mini-boss?

Thread Hop: Is Ira Gamagoori the best character? Because I'm pretty sure Ira Gamagoori is the best character.

I think they implied that the suit is going to be an incomplete weapon and it gets better as it absorbs more threads from other suits and covers more.

Best character at making an entrance, definitely.

Ryuuko has pretty much cemented her place as best character to me. But I more or less like everyone we've been introduced to so far.

According to a release picture, her shoulder pad will get bigger. Her modesty won't get covered up more though.
