Adjusting minor point allocation, please hold.
Right, fixed stuff now. Looots of backgrounds.
... also 8th generation. Probably diablerie. She's not going to have many friends.

Avatar SourceI see. Interesting.
Given that pretty much the entire Camarilla is going to distrust her, and she's too well known to simply fade into the background... needs every advantage she can get.
Avatar SourceMy question on diablerisation wasn't answered I believe. Will we have opportunities to?
Yes, but at a later point.
Also, I like both of your characters. What do you think of mine?

He seems nice. Mannerly, for a punk.
Indeed. Nice guy. XD
Got to love how seducing people only apparently requires Charisma when actually persuading them they want it right now. Ah, crazy rules.
Avatar SourceWell, he's more of a 1960's/1970's street thug than a modern punk. Think more along the lines of Greaser Delinquents. Andy tries to be nice, despite his demeanor of a worn face and ragged denim clothes.
Meanwhile, I shall resume attempting to find the rules for using blood points as a buff. No page numbers = hell. >_>;
Avatar SourceI can't find the blood buff rules either.
Also, who do you think should become Prince?
Abigail has the most resources for setting up shop but is really disliked by the body of the Camarilla. Low generation, though, and political acumen. Certainly an opportunity.
Andy's going to be more trusted (though I must admit that I don't know what 'Domain' is; it's not in the version I've got. Mind explaining?) and he's got local influence... but he just doesn't have cash, or financial or political acumen.
Marion's in a similar situation—good skills, good generation... but absolutely no resources to speak of.
So, basically, Abigail's got the most capability, but the other two would be in less trouble for doing it. I think.
Page 162 (ish) of the PDF, as it turns out.
Avatar SourceTrue.
Domain is a background, it's like turf that your vampire considers their territory or hunting ground. Kind of like gang turf. One dot is equal to a single city block.
I don't want to toot my own horn, but I think Andy would make a good Prince seeing as he has some cash and connections, and while not as wealthy or powerful as Abigail, is certainly more trusted. Abigail could be his advisor.
His cash is probably equal to the cost of her wardrobe. Resources don't scale linearly.
I'm in favour of leaving the decision of who's Prince until things are more stable, rather than a blank slate with no infrastructure or property. Basically, pool backgrounds to get things built up, then decide.

And I'm inclined to agree, we'll wait for our characters to build up more power in the city and make alliances before establishing an official Prince.
Now, I have some antagonists in mind for the early part of the chronicle. Sort of a Starter Villain character. You'll find out later after everyone is established in the city.

Hah! The great Marion Roche doesn't wait for you plebs to gain power! The Bloddy throne shall be her's!
Prince of nothing. Destitute, no major assets? Tch, not going to go well for her. >.>
Avatar SourceOkay, my character's been approved, but it's 3 in the morning where I'm sitting, and I really should go to bed. So I won't be jumping into the thread for at least several more hours.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...That's fine
... okay, Awe is completely free to use, so, uh...
Charisma + Performance, Difficulty 7.
Willpower (Difficulty 8) and spending a point to resist for a turn... which means turning around and not looking, pretty much.
Inclines people to respect the vampire's point of view and tend towards agreeing.
Aaaaaand... five or six successes. Everyone that can see her.

Avatar SourceAndy doesn't need Awe to agree with Abigail on this one.
Yeah, but have you tried persuading a crazy vampire recently?
Avatar SourceI'm not sure if Awe would benefit from the -2 to Difficulty from Enchanting Voice. It is about speaking to people and turning them towards your viewpoint, even if you have to see them. Hmm...
Avatar SourceWe'll accept the lowered difficulty
