I think a cropped side by side of Link holding the book above his head and Ganon cowering made to look like a single shot would work. The advantage is that the artifact is easier to see.

I use PNG's over JPG's whenever possible. There's also PNG Gauntlet

Thing is I think you need all three for context. As pointed out earlier in the second you can't clearly see the jewels as objects. In the first there's no rainbow which is what is being shown in the 3rd.

Cut the second. You can't really see the rainbow in it anyway.
Three panels is way too much. Even at two, I don't really care for the image but it seems like the flow of the thread is for it.

Quite honestly, I don't think any of the suggestions made so far illustrate the trope well.
What I'd expect to see would be a side-on shot of someone holding an artifact like a big diamond and a beam coming out of that object hitting an obviously frightened obvious villain. Villain starting to dissolve is optional.
Having said that, if a poor image is better than none, then go with the most popular of what's already been suggested.
