The sequel isn't so much on hold as it is cancelled, with the possibility of a different one being made
Ugh, that's even worse. I wanted to see what those freaky, semi-organic designs were all about.
Dammit dammit dammit dammit friggen fucking dammit!
That's terrible. Yes we still want a sequel. Give it to us.
Meh. I'm not surprised really. Its Obvious Konami is just going to milk MGS for as much as they can.
Do they even really make anything else?
All I can think of is MGS and the castlevania game that no one wants.

If it ain't Metal Gear Solid, Konami don't really care. And That's Terrible.
I mean, MGS was supposed to end in 2001. And it's still going on right now. MGS 5 in development but no sign of a new ZOE because it didn't sell. Bah.
All Konami does now is MGS it feels like.
I wish Kojima could let them know that and let him do what he wants to do.
The article makes it look like Kojima was the one who made the decisions, not the upper brass at Konami. So why are we putting more blame on Konami than Kojima?
Did anyone actually read the article? The Hd collection had a lot of problems with it, Kojima felt the team wasn't up to par to making a worthy sequel if this was the quality to be expected, so he dismantled the team and is re-evaluating what people expect from the sequel, including whether people actually still want it. It wasn't so much Konami but Kojima.

A love that crushes like a mace.I pretty much agree with Thorn about Konami nowadays, although I love MGS as much as the next person. And I am cautiously optimistic about Lords of Shadow 2.
I didn't even know there was supposed to be another ZOE. >.<
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI know that this, at least from what's been written, is coming off as Kojima's decision. While I do respect him being willing to do work to bring the HD Collection up to standard, and to ask what exactly it is that people want from ZOE, I think it's a little ludicrous that he's wondering if people want a new ZOE at all. It may not be the biggest series around, but there's still a solid fanbase out there, even after all these years with nothing new coming down the pipe (this was before the new game was announced).
Dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit.
