The blogger is explaining why the gamers are entitled, that they were basically spoiled by PC games that were not just faster and more complex than console games but also were (relatively) easy to customize.
As in the quote I referenced, consoles charge ludicrous amounts on trivial downloadable ascetics and maps that PC games used to be expected to give out for free, that the community could easily make for themselves if it was not.

I like how the guy says that developers moving away from PC to console because of "entitled gamers" is a bullshit excuse, and yet isn't he bitching like one?
