It is plausible enough to be a hypothetical possibility. Which is exactly how Loki works. I figure he's just deliberately spreading distrust by saying just enough to get the ball rolling, so that Teddy can start overanalyzing his past through an emotional filter that taints and distorts everything he sees.
The most insidious, unshakable, infectious lies are the ones you tell yourself.

damn Mind Screw...
"You can reply to this Message!"And people should be wondering if it's true, because that's what a deceiver like Loki does. Loki's deceptions should be so believable that even the audience itself has to wonder; even knowing that it's Loki himself that said it, it should be credible enough to raise doubt and suspicion, and there should be a genuine possibility that he may actually be telling the truth or, at the very least, lying with it.
Lying with the truth is a great way to establish a deceptive character in such a fashion; so that even when you know he's lying, you still have to wonder if there is still truth in anything he's saying.

It has been used before. By Billy's own mom.
Remember, Wiccan and Speed are implied to be reincarnations of Scarlet Witch's children created via her powers and delusions.
Thats what makes this probably hit home really hard for both Billy and Teddy, as they'd likely know full well about that mess.

I dislike this subplot intensely, as someone who first decided to check out YA for Wiccan and Hulkling alone. Even if it does end up as Loki just being a troll, it reeks of the recent comic book trend of splitting up couples for the sake of relationship drama.
Bear with me as I'm not reading the comic but why is Kid Loki on the team anyways?

Because he basically assembled them and Kid Loki actually tries to do good.
Alas, its not Kid Loki its Loki in Kid Form.
"You can reply to this Message!"Also, the original Avengers were assembled for the first time to fight Loki. Now we have a kid Loki, it make sense for him to be involved with the Young Avengers.
Man. The newest issue was great. I love what Gillen's doing with Loki. He's making him as complex and torn as his Kid Loki from Journey Into Mystery. And we've still got Kid Loki, now in conscience form! Woot!
But yeah. Gillen continues to write Loki as one of the most fascinating characters out there.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Just read it. So, the arc ended and nothing actually is solved? Well, that is certainly interesting. Lets see how this will play out.
Wouldn't that mean the arc isn't truly over? It seems to be the trend over the last several years to tell one single story over many issues, and thus 2 or 3 different arcs, with Ed Brubaker's 'Captain America' probably being one of the most notable cases of this. So, while the 'arc' may technically be over, un-technically, it may be far from that.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundIt depends on what you call an "arc". There is an ending in this issue, so it is not weird to say it is an arc ending. It is just that the ending conclude less that one could have expected. The story, as a whole, is not finished yet. I am just surprised the 'Mother' is not a single arc villain, but something bigger than that.
Marvel's been doing that in general with Marvel Now. Hickman's Avengers is still slow-burning up to Infinity; Captain Marvel has been building to its current Yon-Rogg arc for its entire run; Fantastic Four and FF have gigantic big arcs that aren't even close to finished eight issues (apiece) in.
Marvel Now seems to have a subtle, non-explicit marketing strategy of "let the writers make big long-term plans and don't fuck with them."
Hm.....Am I the only person that thinks Kid Loki should get a new costume? If I'm counting right he's the only one that hasn't (if you can count Teddy's purple/black shape shift as a costume change).
I just really think his current one is a bit....dorky. (And that weird black-head-cover thingy annoys the crap out of me for no reason at all).
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"The most recent issue was good. It looks like they've set up Prodigy on a little collision course with the Young Avengers in order to rescue Speed.
Iron Lad also returned in FF! He's full-out villain and going by Kid Immortus now.

YA #6 was awesome. I loved it so much. It was tons of fun, until the end, when it just got creepy and nightmare-inducing. So much awesome.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Hm.....I'm pretty sure the "Patriot" clones have nothing to do with Mother so the question arises.....What are they?
You know....I like Prodigy. He can stay. But I don't understand what the company he and Speed where working for actually well....does.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"As near as I can tell it was some sort of office where they used superhumans to complete otherwise mundane tasks, which is sort of genius if you think about it. Having a speedster working as a one man assembly line probably saves tons of cash in manpower and benefits.

Hm....I suppose makes sense. But what kind of Technical support caters to ninjas?
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"An awesome kind.
Besides, it's not like the ninjas were going to follow his advice anyway. There's no helping ninjas.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Huh. Makes me want to see a "peacetime" superhero story. All the villains are gone for good, a golden age of peace and prosperity has enveloped the country... and all the supers have to get jobs. Pym, Richards, Stark, Parker, Banner, they're set. Captain America would be the best personal trainer ever. Speed, Quicksilver, yeah, the one-man assembly line would work. Jean Grey would read palms at a carnival, just because I think it's funny.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]There was a somewhat similar concept in Avengers Academy. A kid used his powers to found his own company where he recruited teenagers with powers to do things like disaster relief and aid work in foreign countries.
And then he went Super Villain.
"You can reply to this Message!"The art in this issue was magnificent. I hope Marvel employs the artist.
Quick question, are Wiccan and Speed mutants like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver?
Marvel has never explicitly said so one way or another, since for the longest time they were really intent on milking the "Is she or isn't she?!" drama about Scarlet Witch being their mom. Even with that last bit now confirmed, I still don't think it's ever been stated whether they're mutants or just have magically-granted abilities.
Eh, until otherwise proven its just Loki messing with them.
