I'm trying to remember a specific manga I read briefly back in, I want to say, 2005-06. It took place in Haiti or somewhere similar, had a lot to do with voodoo (the main character dies and is resurrected in the first few pages of the first book), it had a very rough, raw art style. Not written by a Japanese manga.... creator.... person. Does this strike anybody as familiar?
