Episode 11: time travel as an excuse for greater perversion.

I didn't mind it, especially if you hand-wave it as the Cat god smoothing things over.

But I have to point out that it's still completely tasteless.

The little twists, like the reason behind the notches in the frame and the fact that their mother was actually a bit of a slob add some depth to the scenario.

This is better than the Italy-school arc at least. Though nowhere near my ideal of that arc done right.

Dude. Spoilers. Yes we're going to watch it as soon as we're able, but there will always be people who come here before watching it.

I spoilered the whole thing just in case, but I don't think there were any actual details unspoilered before. It's a pretty vague post.

Apart from the part about time travel. But that was pretty explicit last episode.

I'd say that the time travel was only implied, not explicit. As soon as I read the part which you stated this in, I immediately ignored the rest of your post in case it had other unmarked spoilers.

We're in the past and I still can't seem to figure out what happened. There are several differences between what is (and is not) remembered, and what actually happened. We need to straighten things out.

Tsukiko gushing over Little Youto was just hilarious, as was her drunken spell. Tsukasa's personality was also a pleasant surprise. Little Vice Prez was already annoying and Little Azusa was cuuuute!

That was a nice episode. So Yokodera gave up his memories so that Tsukushi could have memories of her mother. As a result Yokodera forgets things in general once they become memories. Not only that but the wish to go to Italy wasn't just Yokodera's but Tsukiko and Tsukushi's as well. I like that and the atmosphere and way it was handled is pretty nice. However there I one thing I don't get: which is whether or not he and Tsukiko are a couple now. That said this was a perfect ending to the show.

I'd say that that was left very much open. If they make another season, then they probably won't be a couple, but if there is no next season made, then people get to ship however they want.

Episode 13.

I have to admit they exceeded my expectations and their past track record for execution. It was a good episode.

I like to think it's a Tsukiko end, and it's a much stronger end than a completely open ending, but I have to acknowledge it is still an open ending.

So for both those things, as well as the excellent use of an established plot device and foreshadowing leading to one of the most heartwarming moments in the whole show, I have to say it's a good ending and slightly raise my impression of the show.

Episode 13: Yes, it's a good ending.

For all the narrative faults the story has suffered from, at least it has succeeded in its foreshadowing for this episode. The buildup to the climax of the episode was well done, and the climax itself (Little Youto giving up his memories) was a moment of heartwarming/awesome.

Even better is that the show retains the little touches that I loved it for. Tsukiko not recognizing her younger self, the raindrop tear on Tsukiko's face, the body pillows Tsukushi and Vice Prez had in the eyecatch, Tsukiko having the same sound effect for eating and kissing, etc.

The epilogue was cute, too.

I kinda liked it. A bit too open-ended, but overall okay. And of course, they couldn't give her her expressions back. That would remove her moe. Well, part of it.

And why is it always that if someone sees themselves, either a clone, younger/older version, or someone imitating them, they never recognise themselves? Well, if it's an exact clone they might, but that's about it.

Because it's funny! Yokodera actually recognised himself pretty quickly last episode.

I loved how both Tsukikos were big eaters.

Tsukiko just kept feeding and feeding her younger self who just kept eating.
