Is her mecifully dead relationship with N52 Superman in that video? 'Cause DC seem hell bent on making everyone forget that remotely mattered lately.

So this week's been a pretty big one for Lois fans
In Action Comics We see her go undercover in a joint collaberation with the press and police, and bumbling Clark almost wrecks the operation. She stalks him and learns that whenever he enters his old apartment...he dissapears. Even his landlord admits he has'nt seen Clark for months. Clark asks Lois out and at first she resists, but then seizes the oppertunity to learn more about him and accepts, wondering what it is she'll tell her husband. Luckilly for her, Supes is preoccupied with a comoatose Lana
And then in Superwoman it's revealed that Classic Lois has the same memories and experiances of New 52 Lois, something I think she's kept secret from Clark and Jon!
That cliffhanger at the end of new superman was a doozy now thats reaching far back

So I discovered these today:
This is actually cool, in an extremely straightforward sort of way.
Apparently, these cartoons had a huge role in defining the mythos
Yeah, the Fleischer Bros. Superman cartoons are legendary, influential not just to Superman but to animation in general. They're frequently cited as some of the best action cartoons of all time.
I've known about them for so long now (some of 'em frequently get released on those big public domain cartoon collections, as there are some copyright issues; WB released a digitally remastered collection of all of 'em a few years ago) that it's feels a little odd to encounter someone who doesn't know about them.
i started a Recap.Lois And Clark page. it's for the TV show, but hey, it's Superman-related so i figured I could post it here XD
i'll add season 2-4's episodes when I'm not super tired.

I'm still really shocked that a comic about Electric Red Lana Lang is being published.
I've been reading a number of old Silver Age Superman stories, and it's interesting to note how frequently in those Superman ends up outwitting his opponents rather than overpowering them. In one story, for instance, he convinces a pair of aliens scouting the Earth for a potential invasion that the Earth's environment is inhospitable to them when one would imagine he could have cleaned their clocks with much less fuss. His strategies are frequently Silver-Age ridiculous and extremely convoluted, but they are strategies.
Or he could keep using the "all humans are Fliying Bricks" ploy. But that would involve including Batman(for the costume switch) in every story.
He was so powerful the actual violent solutions would have led to stories like two pages or three long each, and that's counting the setups.
Doesn't that belong in the "DC Comics in General" thread?
