Level 70? Whoa.
I have a message from another time...The combat is so much fun that it's easy to overshoot with the grinding. I'm at chapter 4 and my party is in their fifties.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Is level seventy supposed to be high for chapter five?
Somewhat. Levels in the 50s are kinda the norm for Chapter 4 actually.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I hit level 99 in chapter 5, mostly because I wanted the job levels and the character levels just kind of came along with that.
I beat the game around level 70.
I got my characters all to 99 sometime around the start of the True Final Chapter, though that was due to JP overgrinding and mucking around in the Bonus Dungeon.
maxxed out the levels to 99 around 5-6
...jeez, make me feel inadequate, why don't you.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.You should be fine in the 50s, at least unless you want to get the Vampire Asterisk. Though with the right set up (I used Hasten World and a party of characters with ninja skills), that could probably done in the 50s.
You can definitely get Vampire in the 50s, since I did. You don't even need any fancy tricks, you just need a healer who's consistently faster than the boss. If you heal to full at the beginning of every time it's almost impossible for him to kill you.
Or you can Ninja-Cheese.
Getting Vampire in Chapter 4 is recommended, as the enemy packs found in chapter 4 can get you some Genome powers you otherwise can't get until chapter 8.
I have a message from another time...The Vampire's not the problem. The Dragons are. And you do not want to use Hasten World against them.
Song of the SirensI did the dragons with a single ninja and spiritmaster. And Drain-Bushido I guess. And a pirate for slow.
Okay, lots of things, but more interesting to me than leveling up the entire party as the same class.
To get the dragons done, I simply used the Ninjitsu stunt.
To get the Vampire asterisk, I used Ninjitsu + Group-Cast All reflect.
Although, Dragons can actually be cheesed by using Hasten World. If a dragon has more than 0 BP, they always use Element-Eye followed by Element Breath. Use Rampart to block the damage, Fairy Ward to keep out any unpleasant statuses, and your group is completely untouchable.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm pretty confident in my team.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I've now finished Chapter 5, begun Chapter 6, and entered the third world. sigh...
Edea has mastered Ranger, and I now have her as a Valkyrie/Ninja.
One trend I saw throughout the second world is that the party had a tendency to assume that what is true for one world is true for another. Like the second world's love triangle between Braev, Kamiizumi, and Mazher, as told by the gossipmonger. Who's to say if that's unique to the second world's versions of them? But Edea seemed to think it applied to the first world versions. It's strange.
There is now doubt as to whether or not Airy can be trusted, too. I think I've seen things to that effect before, possibly in this thread, but don't know the whole story yet. Not to mention how insistent on awakening the crystals she was in the second world, and that seems to be continuing in the third.
Also, how much further do I have to go until I can unlock Conjurer?
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.About half way through chapter 6.
If I remember correctly, you get the quest after 2 crystals are awakened? Or was it 3?
I have a message from another time...That's good to hear.
Also, Nemeses. I still can't beat Lucifer or Asmodeus, despite being at the recommended level. Lucifer just Mowed Down and Aeroja'd my party into oblivion. I felt like I had a fighting chance against Asmodeus, but I ultimately lost to him, too.
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.Pretty sure it's two, but you also have some required battles to go through beforehand.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television....So, the dragons are indeed kicking my ass. Any tips? I'm considering simply grinding a bit till I get Amped Strike and spam it alongside My Hero — the dragons only have 99999 HP, right? Should be able to whittle that down in three turns.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.There are several ways to block the dragons' breath attacks, such as the Templar's rampart ability or having all of your party members have Ninja as a sub-job and use utsusemi.
