Erm. You might want to spoiler tag that pet peeve trope of yours. It's kind of easy to guess what the other spoiler is from that.
I have a message from another time...Spoilers for Bravery Third the fairy is evil :D
Mileena MadnessSpoiler for Bravely Fourth: You are the Fairy!
Spoiler for Bravely Fifth: The villain was Agnes the entire time!

She wanted to take revenge on all the people mispronouncing her name!
It's not Bravely Third, it's Bravely Minute. Then Bravely Hour. Duh.
Is Anne being a villain really a plot twist given the promos? She's been shown with the main villains.
I'm trying to stay spoiler free, mind you, but unless there's a twist with who the villain really is (this is not an invitation to tell me), I thought that was pretty straightforward.
I want to say that this is "censorship," but changing a Native American outfit to a Cowboy outfit definitely has some Unfortunate Implications on its own.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realI wonder if they will also change Amys design. I don't really mind the "censorship" though.
From the looks of it it's less censorship and more "Changing from one culture to another." Because she's still in basically a bikini.
I'm fairly certain that's some kind of offensive, though, but I'm not sure if it's racism or cultural appropriation or whitewashing or what.

Amy has a Kansai accent, so maybe they're doing that Kansai-American southern drawl conversion, and they want the visual elements to match?
It's a very strange change regardless.
Eh, people where more likely to take offense at the Theme Park Version of a Native American outfit (especially one as sexualized as that one) than a cowboy one. They're just covering their asses.
...Unlike that girl there.
Though it occurs to me maybe they are worried that the original outfit would be considered racist or something.
Of course, changing it is also probably racist, so it's quite the pickle.
The original outfit doesn't seem offensive to me, though, so what do I know?
Us American whities deserve to be the targets of Theme Park Version, so I'm not complaining.
But you KNOW that the anti-political correctness crowd is going to throw a fit.
Isn't the "tomahawk" class a gun-user to begin with?
I have a message from another time...Thought it was an axe wielder.
Yep.
It's basically Khint's class from BD but with natural affinity towards guns.
Of course Spell Fencer doesn't make a comeback as a usable asterisk, does it?
Nope.
A lot of classes are really just (heavily nerfed) old ones retooled.
Hey, if the job class and ability combo flexibility is still in, I'm cool with them individually being weaker. More stuff like Hasten World My Hero + Mimic and less Rage (though granted, Rage did require some thought to make truly OP).
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Nothing will ever be as easily broken as Pirate/Swordmaster, though.
Makes bosses a breeze, when you've got three of them and a Spiritmaster/White Mage.
Which aren't as broken as a properly set-up Dark Knight.
3 Swordmaster Pirates can do up to 12 9999s in a turn.
A Dark Knight with a full party's worth of support can do 20 9999s in a turn.
I have a message from another time...
I heard some things about Anne in the sequel. I absolutely detest the idea that BOTH fairies turn out to be completely evil, but I'm not entirely sure why. It may have something to do with the fact that Always Chaotic Evil is one of my Pet Peeve Tropes, and also how it really feels like the writers are treading old ground.
Completely right.
