With a Salvemaker you can just use a Bane to make them weak to whatever you like, so you don't specifically need a Flare Axe. With a BP engine, you can get a couple of dozen hits against an elemental weakness. It's one of the things I love about the Salvemaker.
This definitely seems the way to go, cheers! Probably not something I strictly need until a bit later (Free-Lunch + Amped Strike + 4 BP back = 70k damage in 2 turns with one character alone which is murdering the Chapter 5 bosses) but can definitely start setting it up now.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.Ominas Crowe, Artemia, Mephilia and Einheria are back(probably for the barter sub system)◊.
Higher quality scans and more info later this week.
Edit: Based on this really low quality picture◊ there are ~30 Jobs in the game as far as I can see. BD had 23 IIRC.

So we're keeping all the previous ones?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.nice find! BD had 24 jobs including Freelancer, however we already know of 7 new jobs, so either one job got the boot(Salvemaker seems a likely candidate) after all or the wheel grows with the jobs you get.
I'd say Conjurer.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I'd say there's a possiblity that Vampire is gone, given that the Cat-themed one seems to be Blue Mage-based.
Salve-Maker could also be the one that got the boot though.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Cat-Master and Passier both mix items like Salvemaker.
I could see this happen. If Friend Summoning won't be in this one they could just integrate Conjurer into Summoner.
Conjurer lost its "Recover MP" ability to the new Exorcist so it seems to be gone.
I love the Exorcists spells btw(the class also apparently has a Skill that makes them better):
- Undo
- MP(costs MP)
- HP(costs MP)
- BP(costs 3 BP)
I don't get it. Why bother letting me undo BP, when it costs 3 BP anyway to undo it?
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The Exorcist can target others. If you reset someone from -4 to +4 thats a net gain of 5 BP. Depending on wether the old BP engines remain or not this has gamebreaking potential.

This. People are guessing he is going to be a duo boss with another Asterisk Holder or some mooks because if you can't kill his helper quickly he can just reset their health back to the way it was etc.
My bets are on Exorcist and Guardian being a dual boss. Compare that ghost beyond Bloody Geist◊ with the Guardian◊.
Just had a mental image of a team using the 4X Rage strategy and using Undo BP in the same turn. Meaning 4X Rage every turn.
I have a message from another time...Don't give them ideas...
Oh god the Turtle Dove is back.
Fucking Turtle Dove. At least now we can lower its level.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.We knew the Turtle Dove was back from the ending movie, which shows Magnolia fighting them, I think?
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.Nah. We see Goldie destroying some airship if we look out the window, though.
I have a message from another time...So. I finally started playing this game!!! I know, I'm sooooo late and stuff.
I'm still very early in the game (just finished Lacrica and the temple of Wind, have to head to Yulyana Forest). The art direction and music is superb~ There's way too much old-school charm in this game. Job System seems swell. I haven't started any really silly experimenting yet, just a good old Black Mage, White Mage, Monk and...I actually don't know what to make Ringabel. I tried Knight but i don't really like it, so now I have him on a Merchant/Thief setup. Mostly cause Merchant looks really funny.
Edea's Muguguguuuuu~ is the funniest thing in the game so far.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerRingabell has the best speed and the second best magic attack, which is why many use him either as offensive mage or buffer.
A new hourlong Bravely Second livestream with lots of new ingame footage has been uploaded.
We see the confirmed final partymembers in alot of jobs we haven't seen them before. (Male cat users are literally meant to be modeled after mafia bosses / pimps no wonder for a class that utilizes pussies)

Booooooo
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Thank you for posting it, it went up right as I went to sleep.
Eh, the main advantage of Godspeed Strike is that you can equip whatever weapon you want. Vulnerable to fire boss? Just equip a Flare Axe!
Main thing to do with it is to use Mimic, but that takes forever to get the JP for.
